Shell let out an earsplitting screech as blood pooled from her side and created a cloud in the water. Somehow the creature had maneuvered it's scorpion tail to pierce her soft underbelly in their scuffle.

Kncukles bolted in surprise. She's taking a beating... Knuckles looked at the creature, trying to find a weak spot... maybe the gills or the eyes? He had the Chaos Emerald with him... The echidna nodded and, using the creatures back to push off of, made for the gills. He drew on the Emerald, a fierce yellow light filled his eyes. Here goes...

Seeing the red pool as a distraction....Clik swam as fast as she could and stabbed the creature in the eye....it let out a earsplitting screech.

Knuckles jabbed at the creature's gills, tearing downwards. The tissues split a bit.... The echidna frowned. Something wasn't right. He slashed again disheartedly, though there was no gash this time because his blow was a lot weaker.
