(You got that a bit wrong, Almon scared Phoenix and Cobalt and they thought he was suspicious so they were getting ready to fight him just in case, Phoenix is annoyed at Cobalt for not using his ability. No one is fighting.)

Basically Cobalt was telling Almon about his curse ability (Prodigy) and Phoenix was being frustrated at him for not using it.
