She gave a growl of anger and frustration and picked him up by his scruff, following her scent trail back to the den. When there she set him down and wondered what to do.

Conscious finally, I groan and try to sit up, but I am unsuccessful. I make a mental checklist of what hurts. My front right shoulder, which seems to be bleeding badly, and my head hurt the most. Everything else is just a dull ache.

SparrowSong noticed his shoulder and went to the back of the den and in a dark corner found a cobweb. She took it and put it on his shoulder wound. She looked at him. "Anything else that hurts?" she asked.
