"Coulda sworn all the birds died a long time ago," he mutters under his breath as he gently lifts one of its wings. "Would've thought their racket would be the end. . ."

She stays silent just looking at it

Isorin looks at the little owl curiously. It seems to be unharmed for the most part, and he realizes he was worried about the little bird. Strange- he doesn't recall ever having much compassion for animals.

Slowly, the cougar takes more steps until it's only about four feet away from you.

It lies down and continues staring at you with wary, yet patient, eyes.

Hitari peels off a bandage that runs around its neck, and peers underneath. "Ah, crap."

The wound underneath is oozing blood, and many of the feathers are torn out. Removing the entire bandage, Hitari tosses it in a bin and rolls out a new one, quickly re-dressing it.

"Of all the things to get attacked and not die, of course it's something this small," he mutters. "I don't know how to take care of. . .stupid birds. . ."

He seems pretty worked up.

The cougar begins a yawn, but quickly snaps its mouth shut.

It puts its head on the ground and continues staring at you.

"I think I might," Rin offers. He steps up to the owl and closes his eyes, focusing on the channels of magic that run through the Earth and air. Why am I doing this for a bird? He thinks. I've already used a lot.... But he feels surprisingly sure of his decision. His hands and eyes glow orange as the currents run through him.
