She sighs, stepping back inside the portal and holding a hand on her sheathed sword.

Phoenix stands there doig little. His pigeon hasnt returned quite yet.

Neil steps out of the shadows into view, glancing at Phoenixs how for a moment then looked into his eyes. "Another victim of the forest?" Neil asked monotonously. He looked like he was 11 or 12, but his eyes seemed like an emotionless void.

"Actually, im here by choice. Easier to forget...." he returned neils stare, hus own dark eyes bearing into the boy.

"Not resisting the dark energy and willingly letting it make you forget will just make you a slave to the demons here eventually." He shrugged letting a faint smirk on his face that disappeared after a few seconds.

"I am already dark energy. Besides, if i should die, itd be for the better."

"If you wish for death or to suffer then I guess you chose the right place." He shrugged again then his returned to staring into his eyes. "I guess I should ask.. are you working with the necromancer or the demons here? It would be inconvenient if you are of course, that's why I'm asking"

"I work for myself. I have learned the art of not rmtursting . Although i do work truces of peace, they break quite easily."

"That eliminates one issue then" he said and started playing with a strand of hair. Then turned his gaze towards the cave entrance. "Do you feel the purity eminating from inside? Or maybe the barrier is blocking that from the outside too."
