"I'm usually just able to...feel them." Rei explained, walking further into her room. "A lot of them I don't bother communicating with since they're just...there. Some of them, I can tell are nice based on the aura they give off when I'm around them. I talk to them on occasion." She paused. "Very rarely I encounter a malicious one. They aren't very common, though, and typically stick to one area. It's pretty hard to accidentally walk into one of those. I try to stay away from them." Rei then decided to explain how she communicated with the spirits. "Usually, I tune them out. But if I do sense an interesting one nearby, I can focus on seeing them--but I have to intentionally do so first. Or the spirit can also intentionally grab my attention if it really wants to."

((Idk if Luna is calling her Fujito out of respect (since in Japan, students call each other by their last names out of respect/if they don't know each other well), but just thought I'd let you know that her name is Yumeko. Fujito Yumeko (In Japan, the last name is generally listed first)

I can only talk to those that share my totem, and therefore am unable to hear the wisdom of most of my other ancestors." She said, shrugging.
