Mermydon was rather surprised to see that this stranger knew his betrothed. Could he be Halenjaxian and proof that the ancient kingdom had in fact returned? He walked back up beside Kanakwella. "I am Mermydon of Shaledon and she is my betrothed companion Kanakwella of Hallenjax. You have met the princess before?" He inquired of Raka. Mermydon's demeanor had neither become defensive nor taken offense; perhaps the one advantage betrothal offered kelparie kind. His ears were still forward and displayed no aggression.

story: The winter was long and harsh when she was born but somehow her mother made it through with her single cub. Dhuka was a troublesome cub getting into all sorts of trouble when she was little. One day she wandered away from her mother and ended up falling into the river before getting washed away. From then on she was alone forced to grow up much like Meir was though the two never met. Now she roams the banks of the stream looking for her long lost family to reunite with.

at the mention of sock Dhuka sprang up. In a blind haste she tackled the merman and took the socks before sitting on his chest pinning him to the ground.

Off topic: I generated Raka! All his mutations were non regenable so... I like to think this is Raka from an alternate universe where he was raised among other kelpari rather than by quitari.
