She gave him a nudge in his shoulder and padded out of the den, her ears pricked and her muscles tensed, ready to pounce at any prey.

I pad out of the den and bound off, preferring to hunt alone like I have done my whole life.

She watched him go off and tasted the air. She scented a rabbit. She crept up to where the scent was strongest. She pounced at the rabbit and missed as it bounded off. She chased it and was steadily gaining on it. She soon was close enough and pounced on its back, breaking it. She picked it up and dropped it off inside the den before heading back out.

I quickly catch three mice and take them back to the den before heading out to check if any other rouges are nearby.
