I was just imagining another avatar layer called background because that's what I've seen so many other websites do. As something only for a profile, I enjoy the idea much better.

Ikr? Reminds me of Gaia Online and how people walk around with misc. blocks behind em. xD

Even forums I wouldn't be too upset with, I can just imagine walking around some sunny exploration area with a square of snow around me. >>

Swamp? Forest? Mountains? Meadows? Maybe the different places you explore, each zone could have its own background that you get there.

I think that backgrounds would be awesome! I see allot of potential for monthly and holiday backgrounds.
Not to mention more reasons to work for diamonds and play the Jinx Jamboree.

A Galaxy background would be nice! :D and a romantic, autumn, windy, stormy, lightning, christmas, snowy, watery, etc, etc backgrounds would be nice too XD (Has too many ideas)

Maybe there could be a background with some Sylesti...?
Like maybe 1 for every species so you could have a Griffi background if you wanted..:)
And maybe some of them could be re-colorable?

I really like that idea. What would be great is if we could combine these with the companion idea. I'm not sure how companions will work but there's this description for them in the List of Features Under Development. "Avatar companions (collectible mini pets that can be equipped for bonuses)." If some of these mini pets take the form of baby sylesties then these could be in the foreground while we have adults in the background. I think that would be cute.
