Name: Valkyrie Vanir

Gender: female
Personality: she is serious most of the time, being the eldest of five siblings.
Appearance: (If this shows up. Not my art.) she has icy blue eyes that, when in the right light, flash to silver. She has black hair cut in a bob, and most mistake her for a boy.
Strengths: she is great at martial arts and climbing trees. And she is somehow great with throwing daggers.
Weaknesses: She doubts her aim. She would prefer close hand to hand combat. Then there is this thing in which she can get easily distracted.
Skill: She can throw a dagger with amazing precision and can hop from tree to tree without falling off.
History: Her family is -was- really close...until her dad decides to (or not to) die. And then their mom gets a tiny bit uptight and starts yelling at them, Valkyrie and her siblings, if they don't do something as if it is just as important as not eating. Valkyrie sometimes has to steal for their food, and so she became quick and fast on her feet. Valkyrie has gotten in trouble before, and earned fifteen lashes. And then she did something else really desperate, and a bullet hit her in the right arm, and she just managed to escape and pretend she wasn't there until the reaping.
Other: Her preferred weapon is the bagh nakh, but she will use dagger(s) if need be.

Name: Matthew Strong
Age: 16
District: 11
Gender: Male
Personality: Quiet, headstrong and observant.
Appearance: He always seems to be wearing bandages. He is not injured, but he likes to keep little nicknacks in them. He also seems to always be covered in small cuts and bruises.

Stengths: He is physically strong and subtle. He is good at sneak attacking others.
Weaknesses: Is slightly hard of hearing and he has little more than half sight in his left eye(has little perview vision). He is not very good at close range attacks, but can fend for himself if he has a long stick. He doesn't do at all well with sneak attacks from others.
Skill: Hiding in plain sight, bo staff, spear and traps.
History: He fell out of a tree when he was younger and that is why he is slightly hard of hearing and has blindness in his left eye. His father taught him and his three older brothers how to fight with a bo staff that belonged, at one time, to there grandfather. He has had two other brothers in the Hunger Games, one had there name called and the eldest volunteered, they both died. When the reaping came after his 16th birthday, the name of a boy that had been severely injured just weeks before and was still recovering, was called. Matthew volunteered to take his place.
Other: He alway tries to keep a trick up his sleeve.
