3. Post a short paragraph about something amazing that you did for someone else OR that someone did for you - during the winter holiday season.

My car got fixed.

My friend Lauren and her husband Howard tricked me. Lauren, her sister and I had plans to see the Osborne's Festival of Lights at Disney. While we were there Howard and a friend raided a local junkyard and picked up some parts that I needed replaced badly. Howard and his friend spent 6 hours fixing my car. This was totally unexpected as me and Lauren exchanged Christmas gifts the day before. My car got a carburetor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and windshield wipers. He even glued back the material (which were hanging off the door) back on my door panels and cleaned them too. They save me a lot of money this year coming up. Love them!

Gentle were the snowflakes as they descended down from the sky. I lifted my skirt slightly to climb the stairs of the tall castle that beheld me, music and light streaming out of the doorway. At the door, a young gentleman took my hand and I curtsied, The Winter Ball was about to start.

This is Winter Druid, she is the second themed pet that I captured. She is all the more important because I was the one who gave her the trait she now has. She was a blank slate for me to mold into the fabulous Griffi she is now

((First to say, this is very nice for you to do. And I wish everyone luck! owo/))

This is Keedle. As one can tell she is a festive griffi. However if no one had given me the trap to catch her, she would have never been. I was a complete new player at the time of my first winterfest. And I had gotten into the fest late as well. I had ran into this pretty festive griffi and she ate all my traps. Nervous, like any other new player I reached out to the region chat to see if anyone would help. All I got for replies however were.

"That's what you get for not being prepared."

And other replies similar to that. How was a new player, who couldn't spend real money on the game supposed to be prepared for a pet that ate all your traps? And it was a pet that you really wanted too? Disheartened I prepared to kill the griffi however then I spied someone telling me to check my trades. That very person was Keedle whom this beautiful griffi is named after. Keedle's generosity was the best I knew of the community at the time and I'm quite glad there are more people in the game now that help rather than put others down. I'll always cherish this griffi and I'll always remember the kindness that makes me want to come back here during my little 'Hiatuses'.

1. Post an image of your fave winter holiday themed sylesti that you own and a small paragraph telling me why it's your favorite.

This is Hollyfox In Bloom--

Her name is a play on the phrase "holllyhocks in bloom." Hollyhocks are flowers, and my Festive vixen has the trait Flower Vines. She's my favorite because she's the first Tagged Festive I ever acquired, and she's my only Tagged Festive Zolnixi. I gave her the Flower Vines with a Greater Genetic Mutator, so, until somebody catches a 2015 (or later) Festive Nixi with that trait, Hollyfox and her descendants are the only Festive Nixies who have it.

When the night is silent
And the last light dims
At the corner of midnight
When the cold flakes of white
Are the only things disturbing the night
And the world is busy sleeping
For the next day will be Christmas
And jingle bells can be heard
As the reindeers make their route
And Santa Claus comes down the chimney spout

This is a dumb poem. Ah well. I tried. <.<

For me growing up when Christmas came around it was always a special time for us. My grandmother and I ran a shelter home for abused kids. They lived with us year round. We usually took teenage boys ranging from 9 to 17 years old. They came from all kinds of backgrounds. Some were more grateful than others but that never stopped us from trying to make the holidays as special and filled with love as we could. We considered them to be part of the family. It was fun trying to sneak around figuring out which each one wanted and hiding gifts as we bought them. Watching them trying to figure out what they were as the days til Christmas counted down was so great Our whole family would come over and make a big meal. Many other homes would chose to have the kids removed for the holidays but we kept ours because everyone needs somewhere to be safe and warm. Kids that really didn't have families to go to we ended up keeping forever. I guess I was kind of lucky growing up I had the biggest most protective family growing up lol. Many of them I still keep in contact with. It's nice to see how they've grown and what they are doing now. I've had them over for dinners and family fun.

Candle in hand and skirts billowing, the Angel of Carols moves on wings of pure music through the night. Her songs are too soft for ears to hear them. Still, if your heart is open, you will hear the crystalline notes as you sleep the cold winter nights away. On the edge between sleep and waking, you might even catch a glimpse of her fair hair or the light of her enchanted candle.

She's an escaped faun from an evil witch - kinda based off of Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. With the holiday, though, she's winter colored and prettied up! She's of the winter, not of the summer.
