I looked up "Amethyst" and this was the first thing I saw:
So I thought I'd base these Nytekries off of that!
(Yeh yeh I was feeling creative so I added some) These next two Vulnyxes (if that's the plural form) I didn't really use a reference picture for, but I mainly focused on getting as many tones of violet as possible.
And for my final entry, I had a sudden vision of some giant amethyst crystal breaking open and the evil king of amethysts walking out (Yes, I know I'm crazy), so I made that in the most geometric way that I could.
(To be honest, amethysts kinda remind me of purple tinfoil)

Ahh!! Thank you so much, Eots! It's nice to see a darker shade of amethyst, and it certainly works beautifully on the Nytekrie!

1st Design: Based off of this as I loved the variety of purples <3
I tried to incorporate the brown as well but that didn't work very well
2nd Design: Based off of this because I loved the intertwining silver <33
I used Aeridini to integrate that intertwining silver
3rd Design: Based off of the meaning of the Amethyst itself
Since it is a very spiritual stone, I used the ryori, since I believe the Ryori is a very spiritual species
I also believe that tinfoil is a very useful foil ^~^

Whoa, Ember! Those are absolutely amazing! I love that you went with the meaning of the Amethyst itself, and incorporated it into the Ryori. It's going to be so hard for me to choose the winners ;-;
And Eots, all I can really say is that's a pretty freakin cool idea to think about, and you created it so perfectly... it just inspires me so much :D
