Wouldn't the fact that you can use a philter support the allowing of same-gender pairs in the contest? Winners aren't required to breed their pairs, nor are they prevented from using philters. If a winner can use a gender swap if they really wanted to, why not allow them to simply enter that in the first place?

I think it'd be a harmless fun option \o/ Changing the rule doesn't prevent anyone from submitting an actual breeding pair. The current rule just makes it a bit more difficult to have a same-gender pair.

I'd love to see this. When I first saw the post i actually thought about why there couldn't be same-sex pairs on it. They'd be so cute and my gay self loves for this

I'd love to be able to submit MLM and WLW pairings. Restricting a Love Contest to just MLW just doesn't make sense.

I know that I usually collect pets for looks rather than only breeding and if they're 'Love Pairs' rather than strictly 'Breeding Pairs' I'd love to be able to have same sex pairings count towards the contest. And as it has been mentioned it wouldn't take away anyone else's chance to, if they wanted, submit a male and a female still whether that be for breeding or not. Just having the option to submit something outside of that would be great though

I'm in full support of this as well, it seems very excluding to not include WLW or MLM or even PLP (partner love partner for nonbi folks) pairs for this contest. it is a "Love Pair" Contest as many have stated and I hadn't really paid mind to the rule before.

Hecc two of my Rikkis are MLM canon dating in my account lore now. So it once again feels very sad to exclude these pairings from the contest. :(

I also have two Zolnixi's that are female (one bi and the other lesbian) that are in a relationship. I wasn't even going to enter the contest but it just didn't sit right with me that we HAD to have 1 male and 1 female. Hopefully, that can change eventually if not this year.
