He goes into the tunnel and the moment you get all the way in it seems as if all light has completely vanished. Not even the sunlight outside seems to get through yet Branch seemed to know exactly where he was going. You didn't bump into any walls or ceilings and when you made it out the other side you see a ginormous cavern with about 4 dozen different dragon nests. The entire cavern had swirling, windblown pillars with the nest nestled in their folds.

I mean the only ones that are "awake" are the wind dragon clouds running about their buisness

"Wow," I breathe as I take it all in. "I can't believe you knew how to get into this place," I add, patting Branch's shoulder.

I look around again. We're lucky none of the parents are here just now, but hovering around at the entrance is probably not the best idea.

"We don't want to steal eggs that have caring parents," I muse, half to myself and half to Branch. I slide off of his back and onto the ground, placing a hand on his shoulder. "So let's look around and see if there's any eggs that have rolled away or seem like they aren't being looked after properly."

I start towards the edges of the cavern, hoping that Branch will understand my hand on his shoulder is to try to keep him close.

Branch seems to understand and stays close to you. Most of the eggs glisten and shine or radiate warmth, obvious signs that they are being cared for. However you spot 3 eggs that are dull and seem to be draped in some cobwebs, they feel cool to the touch

I brush the cobwebs from them and look at them closer. "Poor little guys," I say. I wonder if they can hear me. Or... if I can hear them.

I kneel down in front of them and put my ear to the surface of one of the eggs, straining to hear any signs of life from it.

I heave a sigh of relief. Alive, at least. Now I need to find a way of getting them out of here.

I check if I could fit an egg into one of my backpacks, how many Branch could carry and if I have to carry any after that.
