The doctor checked her vitals again and instructed her to drink lots of water. Lani asked what could cause someone to pass out, and the doctor said, " Well, many different conditions can cause fainting such as heart problems such as irregular heartbeats, seizures, low blood sugar, anemia, and problems with how the nervous system regulates blood pressure. Some types of fainting seem to run in families." Lani nodded and said, "Okay. Thanks."
