I climb my way quietly up the tree and position myself in a way the the only option for it's escape is down.

There was no way that ws possible before the squirrel had gone to a different tree.

I try to see if maybe I could pounce on it or distract it long enough for frostpaw to catch it.

He was addressing something. You could see anything out there, but he padded out and into the bushes.
