Hanoko nodded. "Same...I guess we're going now." Aoi helped her stand

Wren decided that Kimi would show up sooner or later, so she walked into the entrance where everyone else was waiting. She noticed Rowan and Elizabeth, giving a comforting smile. She walked over to Elizabeth first.
"Nervous?" She said as she set her own bag down on the floor. All it contained was a cracked pocket watch that was apparently her father's, and a pair of glasses that belonged to her mother at one point.

Kimani climbed down the ladder once he had seen all the carriages arrive. Was that what they were leaving in? He didn't have anything else. He was wearing what meant a lot to him, which was a single earring that he had assumed belonged to the woman he would have called mother. Instead of bothering to sneak back in through the window, he came in through the front door. What were they going to do, beat him in front of their new "father"?. He met eyes with Wren and she looked relieved.

Finally, the man had finished the last bit of the paperwork and met the children. His smile was warm.. and amazingly, so were his eyes. He either was a very good actor or very happy about this. " Hello, I am Mr. Manitoba, I am sure you've heard my name thrown around. His eyes scanned the children, and he said, " We should get going before the snow falls more.. Please, pick a carriage and get in before it gets worse. " He finally saw Kimani, " What happened to you? No matter.. A doctor shall see to you tonight.. and whoever did it shall answer to me. " He said, almost in anger..

( He is using an abusive tactic for those wondering, this would be called the honeymoon phase. )

He pulled off hus raggy old coat and slung it onto his friend, it was a little big, but sufficient. He smiled at Nicolas, holding the door open for him as they exited the building. He ignored the burning feeling in his side as he guided him to a carrage. "Fancy." , He mumbled, examining it.

Hanoko held on to Aoi for support. Right now her legs were not working. At all. SHe barely took one step without falling.

Aoi looked worriedly at her "Hanoko...are you sure you're ok?"

"...Dyspraxia? Remember? Cold weather?" she managed

Aoi glanced at Puyo. "I don't think Mistress told Mr. Whats-his-name that a bunch of us have disabilities."

Nicolas followed after Mason, staying a little close to the larger boy. " It is so pretty... and the horses are soo big! " He squealed a little, seeming excited.

Mr. Manitoba looked to Aoi, Puyo, and Hanoko, " What happened to that young girl? " He asked, seemingly worried.

"DOn't worry about her, she has dyspraxia so she has to work harder to do everyhitng and she can't really do something without really thinking about it hard. THe cold is making it harder for her. I have dyslexia so I'm still learning to read. A few of us have some disability , we're not the only ones. Puyo's fine though." Aoi offered.

Hanoko nodded. Because that's all she could do right now, she was just trying to keep her balance. She didn't have the enrgy to scold Aoi for being so open.

Kimani looked to the man, and then at the window where he could see his reflection again, and then back at him. Does that mean he cares? His thoughts were hopeful, because part of him was desperately clinging onto the hope that he was truly nice, despite the red flags everyone was seeing. In that moment, his eye looked alive, and not dull. As if to give a hint, he looked right into the eyes of a male staff member working there. But that was all the hints he gave.

Wren looked at Kimi, and then at the man. She was happy, because she couldn't do much for his eye. Now, a doctor could actually see him.
"You wanna sit with me Elizabeth? I'm sure it'll be nicer that way." She said as she picked up her small bag.
