it rears back but doesn't attack instead looking wary but mildly curious
"Hmm," I muse. "You are a curious one, aren't you?"
I cross my legs and stay put. Near me is a dry patch of dirt, where it looks like the dragon has at some point clawed at the grass a little. I pick up a small, blunt rock and I start to etch a drawing into the ground. The lizard-like figure of the Earth dragon starts to take shape with each stroke of the pebble on dirt.

(So quick warning in rpg's the environment is controlled by the narrator, because sometimes we have a plan for the story to progress or something depending so don't create the environment. You can definitely ask if there is something you want so like "are there any rocks around I can use?" or the like)
The dragon lets out a a curious chirrup and steps towards you, towering over your shoulder watching what your doing

(Oh, okay, sorry. I was trying to just make small changes, but I'll make sure to check with you in future)
I peer up at it for a second before looking back to the drawing and carrying on. The drawing of the Earth dragon almost seems to look up directly at me and the real Earth dragon from the dirt. I put a grin on its face and a dragon treat in its small claws.

(it's all good ^-^)
it chirrups and sniffs the drawing apparently in search of the dragon treats in the dragon drawings hand
I run a rough calculation through my head. If I want to get to the lake before nightfall, I'll probably have to start moving soon. I'm not comfortable with being out in the open meadow during the night, even if the Earth dragon decides to stick around.
I turn back to it. "Well, I'll need to head off now." I say. "You wanting to come? Little adventure, me and you?"
