"Well, hello Dex, hello River, and hello Zac." Max said, confused as to how this conversation had gone from just two people to four within the span of less than a minute. Oh well, this was good, he'd met more of the new kids now. "Which horse is yours then, Zac? Have you picked one yet?"

Zac grinned, "The dark brown thing up front" he pointed over his shoulder, "Tied up by the rope outside." it was pretty obvious he'd never been around horses before and had no idea what the technical term for a dark bay horse or head collar was, "It shall now be called bratwurst by me, as the fabulous German horse."

River held back a laugh at Zac's attempt to try to flirt with Dex. " It's nice to know there are other new people, and nice to meet people who aren't new. "

"How can you tell if the horse is German?" He asked innocently. "They can't talk...can they?" Dexion glanced down as he said this. He felt stupid for not knowing the simplest things about the animals. But then again he felt shy towards these people. And Zac creeped him out. He didn't like the flirting, not out in a place like this with so man eyes around. It was one thing about what had happened with Crow but another thing entirely about what was happening now.

River chuckled at Zac's small joke. " Not sure you're the one who scared her away. "

He frowned, "What makes you say that, M'lady?" he teased before smiling again

" Not even sure she ran away. " River said with a smile.

"C-could you please stop doing that?" Dex said taking a step forward and facing Zac. His cheeks were red and he honestly looked nervous. There were too many people here, he couldn't keep up with them all. Even back in the home there hadn't been this many people that wanted his attention at once. Normally the other kids left him alone unless they were making fun of him for the marks on his face. Least these people didn't seem to notice or at least care.
