3: (Actually, you started with 18 gold so you have 15 left. Also, it is another week or so to Valon, which means the four meals you currently have will not be enough. You may come across another village where you can restock, but I don't see much point in waiting.
This does not count as a round, this is just a chance to change your actions.)

"Yeah, we could check them both out. Maybe sell some stuff as well." He replied, "If we're lucky there will be someone wanting an escort to Caemlyn."
You find a local tavern and tie up your horses. There is a forum/agora a little ways down the street and a board is pinned to the tavern wall. You heard a fair amount of talk concerning the upcoming tournament, and indeed the same poster you saw in Sarum is on the board.

After a while, Henry came up to you. "I don't know how to thank you for all that you've done. If it hadn't been for you and your bow, I'm almost certain someone would have died. Please, accept this trinket as a token of our thanks." He offered you a small stone coin, intricately carved with strange designs.

Holly nodded as she finished tying Mitch to a post before reading over the other requests

By the time you reach the town the next day you are down to one meal. Small towns like this have cheap food. Earning money is a little more difficult. It's more of a village really. Each meal is 1 gold.

(Oh okay. Thank you for telling me.)
Serenity restocked her food supply for until she reached the capital and left for the road.

Zuni smiled, "if it is a prized possession, I must not take it. No real hero would flee in the time of someones need. Could I help with something else? Maybe hunt a bit?" He looked over to the goblins bodies, "do you think my arrows could be saved from the bodies of the goblins or will I have to make new ones?" He cared for his bow set, not wanting the arrows to be damaged.

The board has many requests such as:

Looking for Oede herb! Will pay extremely well for even a small amount!

You know that Oede is an extremely powerful healing plant found in artic regions.

Others include a request for a new farm horse, a wanted poster, an ad for ferry tickets to Toran, Falme, and Two Rivers, and a job enlistment for cleaning nets at the docks.

None of them seem like what you are looking for, but any of them could perhaps be completed or at least supplemented by you.

You spend all 15 remaining coins on meals. You now have 19 meals. You could possibly make it to Caemyln, but if you have to ration yourself too much you could be temporarily weakened. There is enough to reach Valon though, and when you get there you can earn coins. For now, you simply leave the village and continue on your merry way as the hours pass by and you disappear into the sunset.

"Ah, you are right that it is special. But it holds no sentimental value and I feel that you will put it to better use than I. Take it, I insist." Henry replied, holding the coin out for you to take it.
