Basil stood on top of the tree, he used his small telescope to look around for enemies or anything thing that would be a problem, however he only found a portal, he watched it for a minute before seeing Tomen and Blue jay exit from it. He looked around for Ashleigh once she found her, he waved his claw and yelled out "Ashleigh! I saw Apollo and Riker's parents outside. Your parents might be with them!"

Willow was sitting down, watching the others from part of the destroyed forest "Well they aren't going to get a hello from me..." she mumbled angrily

Apollo hugged Nina tightly, almost causing her to tumble over

"Alright, we should probably get inside, i'm sure everyone else would be happy to see you" He suggested, wiping away his tears

Nina was shocked. "This seems too good to be true..... I missed you Apollo! I am so sorry I left." Nina said. She smiled happily. She closed her eyes and her smile grew wider.

"Yes let's."Ainsleigh responded to Riker's suggestion looking at him directly, "It's only fitting that we finish the mission together and report it in. Care to show us the way?" She was careful to look about after Riker's ears perked. Since he was blind, she presumed he wouldn't mind him scanning to make sure the remaining team was all here, including Rose Petal.
Tatsu kept a hold of the Ny'vene egg, certain to turn it in to Spruce or Pine so it could be tended by a more appropriate scaly. Turning to where Apollo and Nina were nuzzling each other so affectionately, "Coming you two? It'd be better to catch up in doors judgin' by the way this place looks.
Ashleigh
The wind was as exhilarating to her as it was the very first time her father took her out on a flight. Ashleigh had become a very accomplished hunter of dove and duck and various other air fowl to help stock protein for what was left of the guild. Even now her harness had two wicker cages filled with freshly slain meat, dangling beneath her as she raised her altitude.
There had been a notable disturbance in the drafts when the other arrived so she had to compensate as she passed through the wind current. Just after getting her trajectory corrected she'd heard Basil strong voice calling for her from the lookout."
"Ashleigh! I saw Apollo and Riker's parents outside. Your parents might be with them!"
She smiled and waved to him. She and Basil had been spending a lot of time together for the past few months. He had been welcomed into their circle almost as far back as any of them could remember, though he had his own circle of friends that he preferred to play with. Still he'd come hang out and was open to the others about wanting to spend his time with Ashleigh when they were toddlers. She wasn't too silly to notice either, he seemed to have a keener desire than friendship in mind.
"Thanks Basil!" She called back, then started ruddering herself toward Apollo's and Riker's locations.
She folded in her wings as she got even with the ledge and hovered in for a soft landing so the baskets wouldn't crash. She had to unhitch herself from the harness so she couldn't run to them. "Mom! Dad! It's so good to see the two of you again." She said.
Ainsleigh's composure broke a little as a big smile materialized over her features. Rather than speak she converged upon her daughter while she was getting free of her gear.
Tatsu was stuck still and dumbfounded. She confirmed herself as his daughter. But she was such a beautiful specimen of a winged draeyl that he had to check his masculine nature a bit and let the reality of the situation sink in. This was that hatchling girl they entrusted to the girl, now full grown and virtually virile. He walked rather than run, and he too began to smile cheerily as his paternal instinct overrode his lesser nature.

Riker nodded, he turned around and ran across the vine. He opened the door to let everyone in, once everyone was inside and seated he spoke up "Alright, you all are probably wondering where everyone went, and why the world is all broken apart... But first I want to know why it took you over ten years to clear that dungeon?"
Inferno heard the sound of voices and footsteps downstairs, so she slowly walked down the steps, but when she noticed who it was she smiled and flew down near the others "Well, I wasn't expecting this of all things, should I go get the others?"

[Note: The Enchanted Forest is on hiatus until Kate gets back, which should be around the 22nd. So, to give you something to read, i'm posting information about a few of the Sylesti still living in The Enchanted Forest]
[Anyway, I hope you enjoy the post]

Inferno
Backstory:
Inferno hatched in her father's shop, she was raised to be a blacksmith, but she wanted to be a warrior, her father insisted that she learn how to make weapons and armor, and that he'd allow her to be a warrior if she made a steelroot long sword by the end of the season without any help. She ended up finishing the sword two days before the end of the season.
Personality:
She is very calm and reasonable in most situations, she is almost always seen smiling or having a happy attitude. However, she is very protective of those she cares about, and if someone hurts them she won't hesitate to break someone's bones, or at least give them a few punches to the face
Skills:
She has a magic skill called 'Magma Scales' which allow her to turn any of her scales as hot as magma making them glow a bright red. This skill has been pasted down the Steelroot line for many centuries, and may be the reason why her great ancestors decided to be blacksmiths, as this skill can be used to bend metals and other objects
Relatives:

Riker
Backstory:
Riker wasn't always an orphan or blind, he used to lived with his crazy father and a few siblings. Eventually Riker asked about his mother, this caused his father to get furious, he was so angry he blinded Riker with one of his light spells. After this event his father began hurting all of his siblings as well. He was getting tired of his father's punishments, so stood up to his father and ended up killing him, he ran away, as it was to late for his siblings and he didn't want to find out what would happen if he stayed
He ended up telling no one else this story, instead he lied and said that bandits barged into the house and killed his family, he explained that he had blood stains on his fur because he stabbed a bandit with a knife so he could run away
Personality:
At first Riker seems distant and grumpy, this is because he is very paranoid around those he doesn't know, and it might take awhile for him to become comfortable around someone. Yet once he sees them as a friend, he will make sure they aren't harmed, as well as becoming a bit more clingy around them
Traits:
He has an strange ability which allows him to grow plants wherever he wants, although the ability is often activated by his emotions, which is why flowers or plants might be suddenly growing around the area

Apollo
Backstory:
Apollo was born to a royal family who lived in a Sky Kingdom, back then he was a brat who hated everyone he met, not only that but he loved to bully others. As you can think, many people hated him, some wanted him dead, one person even went as far as to send a assassin out to kill him. However when the assassin attacked he only managed to knock him out, causing him to fall down from the sky kingdom and onto a island that just happened to be floating by. When he awoke the only thing he could remember was his name, and well, you know the rest already
Personality:
He always speaks before thinking, and if he doesn't speak then he uses actions to describe what he's thinking, it usually ends up in a lot of hugs. He is also rarely never angry or sad

Nina- Adoptive Mother, Alive
Skills:
He has the power to create white flames which are like normal flames but stronger, the flames can even stay lit under freezing water

Basil
Backstory:
Basil's egg was dropped off at the guild's hatchery, he grew up without parents as no one adopted him. So he had lots of free time, he used this time to train himself to be a guard and a lookout. The other hatchlings thought that he was strange as he was always talking to himself. Although soon he found a group of friends he liked, he even has a crush on one of them, a draeyl named Ashleigh.
After that his life was mostly training himself and hanging out with his new friends
Personality:
Basil ended up making a sort of 'imaginary self' he talked to whenever no one else was around to talk with him, he is often heard mumbling to himself when he's tired. Besides that he is generally clumsy, and he insults himself when ever he makes a mistake, of course everyone seems to think he's an upbeat guy, who is kind yet serious, in fact the only one who knows all of this is Fir, who Basil trust to keep quiet about it
Skills:
He doesn't have any magic powers, although he does have great eyesight, this helps him act a a lookout. He can be very clever as well, acting as a bit of a strategist when he is stuck with a problem he needs to fix fast

Tomen swished his tail and opened his mouth to speak when Blue stopped him short, the look on her face was one he knew all to well....
They had only had two missions classified as failures since they were pups every time they came to report to the Chief Blue had the same look on her face. It started as disappointed and apologetic, but Blues father had a way of rubbing her failures in her face so the reports would go south quickly... to the point her reports, even the positive ones, were only and extension of their family brawls. After the reports/ brawls with her father she would normally push her training to the max neglecting her own needs for days at a time...
though in this moment in the remains of the guild she seemed a bit more calm, but like she could sense some tension about the room.
Blue Flicked her tail and flattened her ears before speaking not breaking eye contact with her son as she spoke. This was her report and her responsibility... " I take full responsibility for the distress we caused you and the guild... due to my lack of observation I allowed our unit to walk directly into a gods Playing field, I did not notice this fact until our exit had been eliminated and the group separated.... as a result of my poor judgement my unit had no choice but to proceed with finding the floor god and defeating him." she took a pause raising her ears before she continued " The God we encountered went by the Name of clockwork the God Of Time, Long ago this god wallowed in anger and hatred envious of his sister the god of Space. this hate drove him to fuse his sisters body with his own, her and her powers laying dormant until we separated their divine body... The God Of Time Is the reason it seems that we took so long, an hour in there was approximately a year out here." She nodded her head in the direction of Damion and Tome who were now standing side by side, Damion looking more aged then the winged male.

"I see... I guess it's time for me to explain what happened here.... Everything went south about five years after you all disappeared, me and Apollo were sitting in the guildhall, then we heard a loud thud at the door, and the sound of screaming followed... A-a strange creature broke into the guildhall, it look like, a bunch of Sylesti fused together, except they were all black, almost like shadows... Everyone tried to kill it yet, it was useless, they all died, I thought I would too, but luckily Brute grabbed the two of us and flew out of the guildhall... He brought us to the Barracks, we informed everyone there of what happened, a few hours later Juhi arrived with Crow, Jade, and Phoenix... Juhi set up barriers around the barracks, to protect us against the monster... It left after a few weeks, although no one else in the Forest survived, or at least we don't think so.... After awhile everyone left, the last one to leave was Brute who left about a year ago... Just after the world started to crumble apart... We think that the reason it did this is because of the mass of pure magic that was residing at it's core... it's still there, and it might be why the land that is left is floating... We also don't know if anyone else is alive in this world, we haven't ventured to far from the forest"

Footsteps could be heard outside the guildhall, it sounded like on Sylesti, although probably a rather large one
