other facts you want to be known about you or your writing: I don't write that often, and I try and play on here as frequently as allowed(twice a day on weekdays during the school yer, hopefully), but if I'm in a writing mood I'll keep writing until I burn out! I like to write all sorts of fiction but my favorite is fantasy because you can do pretty much anything.

I'm excited too! I'm only in a writing club at school lol.

Sylestbane: A ghost/comedy sounds really interesting. I was going the rather dark and romantic route with that plot, so I'm curious to see how yours turns out!

Cupcakecat: I really enjoy fantasy as well. There's a lot of creativity afforded there and I love to create new worlds and creatures, but there's something to be said for creating a good story within the confines of the real world. There's definitely a charm to both. :D

Damon the Ghost

Please let me mess with them! Sadon begged his friend as a team of ghost hunters entered their home. He loved messing with people, but his friend didnt find scaring them as much fun as he did.

You know, if you keep scaring people then one of these days someone is going to have someone banish us from this place. And then well be wanderers. Do you want to be a wandering ghost? Damon rolled his eyes at Sadon.

Ive always wanted to go to Paris Sadon grinned mischievously.

Were in Paris. Damon replied dryly.

Paris, Tennessee. I want to go to Paris, France!

Then maybe you should clarify next time.

Whatever, so can I mess with them? Please? Theyre ghost hunters, they should be expecting some crazy activity!

Damon sighed in defeat. Youre not going to take no for answer, are you?

Nope!

Fine, you can mess with thema little. Just dont give any of them a heart attack!

Thanks, Damon! Youre the best! Sadon gave his friend a nudge on the shoulder and then drifted down below to start his work. This was going to be too much fun!

Damon settled in behind the group of hunters. He had made it a habit to follow hunters around whenever they came and watch them work. It was quite fascinating really. Their equipment was really cool, but incredibly flawed. They were always prone to false interpretations and struggled to pick up even the most powerful paranormal activity. The worst problem he had with hunters was when he tried to communicate with them. It was always the same old thing

Hi. He said as loudly as he could. One of the hunters machines used for picking up words flickered before displaying the word hi. Even yelling it could barely pick him up, typical.

Did you get that? One of the hunters squealed in excitement. Hello there! Whos with us today? She asked way too enthusiastic.

A friend. Damon replied. Hed learned in the past that it was best to keep his responses short and concise. Short answers tended to translate into human language better. Longer responses like A friendly ghost usually just caught the words a ghost. This time the machine displayed the words a fiend. Stupid piece of junk! Damon hissed. The machine instantly read stupid. The hunters went crazy with fear and a rush of adrenaline.

Whats your name? Another one of them questioned, looking into all corners of the room as though he could see everyone and everything in it.

Damon. He yelled, standing right next to the machine in hopes that it would actually catch his name. Usually though, the result was always demon. One of the hunters went white, the others huddled closer together.

Looks like its going pretty well. Sadon laughed. He snuck up on the hunter who went white and touched the back of his neck, sending chills down the poor mans spine.

Youre going to scare the guy to death, Sadon. Cut it out. Damon insisted. Sadon just looked at the machine and grinned as it spat out the word Satan.

Man, I love those things! Sadon was rolling, literally rolling, on the floor and laughing. He bumped into a bookshelf and a lamp fell from one of the higher shelves. The hunters were losing it.

Yeah, yeah. Its hilarious! Im practically dying its so funny! Damon said sarcastically. Youre so immature.

And your no fun! You need to learn to live a little.

I did live once, about 100 years ago. Living once is enough for me. Can I go back to relaxing now? I think youve messed with them enough.

Me, mess with them? Youre the one who got them thinking there was a demon in here! And Satan! I never said anything!

Damon just glared at him. You know, sometimes I really hate you. Sadon froze as the machine read hate. His eyes slowly rose to meet Damons and he knew he was in trouble. Get out before I kill you.

Sadon ran from the room laughing so hard he was starting to cry. The machine read get out and then almost immediately after it added kill. That was the last straw. Damon pushed past the hunters, knocking one over in his anger as he gave chase after Sadon. The hunters took off for the exit as they heard footsteps pounding up and down the stairs, they left the one who'd been pushed down scrambling to get up and out of there on his own.

A couple minutes later Damon and Sadon sat on the roof of the house and watched the hunters pack up their equipment to high tail it out of there. If Sadon was still a human then he would have been covered in bruises and probably would have had a few broken bones as well. Youre seriously going to get us killed one day. Damon glanced over at Sadon who had calmed down after taking a beating.

I never said anything. Sadon grinned, still possessing enough courage to tease Damon even after being tortured by him.

Youre terrible. Damon shook his head in disappointment. Then he smiled and chuckled to himself. It was pretty funny wasnt it.
