Welcome fellow writers and editors!
Here at WoS we share stories and/or help others with grammar or just in general [with given permission of course!]
any type of story is allowed, you can write fan-fictions, fantasy, romance, comedy, mystery, etc, etc. If your story, however, speaks of sensitive or inappropriate topics [I see you, fan-fiction writers, I see you, don't deny it] I'd prefer it if you gave a warning at the beginning of your story. these short or long stories can be used as a form of venting but again with a warning if it is about a sensitive topic. It doesn't matter if you think you're good or you think you're bad anything is fine
as any group/club we have rules to make sure you guys don't go lady gaga but they're simple:
1. Don't put anyone down, constructive criticism is fine but don't use it to make someone feel bad, ask if you can give them tips or suggestions to make sure they're okay with it.
2. I know I've already said this but please put a warning at the beginning of your stories if it features sensitive or NSFW bits [lookin' at you fan-fiction writers, joking, [mostly] my friends are total perverts with their fan-fictions though. not gonna lie.]
as you can tell, our golden rule is; Don't be an a*s-hat, simple my dude. simple.
LGBT+ stories are 100% allowed if you say otherwise I'd rather you kept it to yourself as to not offend anyone, and if that's not possible take a look at our golden rule [its technically the blue rule though].
Don't forget to stick around for the activities every month! the prizes may vary from whatever is donated, to whatever I got [EX: themed sylesti, gold, good suff]
any form of writing is allowed [EX: poems] and you can write about anything!

writer? editor?: I do both! Although I hate editing my own stories (because I suck at spotting my own mistakes) I am always happy to help edit others!
other facts you want known about you or your writing: I tend to leave work unfinished and unpublished, I work on a story when inspiration strikes but it usually only lasts a week or two and then the story kinda floats in unfinished nether space.

^^ same thing happens to me when writing! I normally get inspiration from drawings and web-comics though. anyway-- welcome! thank you for joining! I'd love to see some of your writing sometime, even if its unfinished!

'cours! I'll go dig through the annals of my google docs for some writings! Also if you don't mind my asking are there any particular genres you prefer writing for?

Wonderful! and I prefer writing in fiction [mainly fantasies and mysteries] If I'm being honest I can never really bring myself to make a story more realistic, I always get bored of it and make some sort of twist where the main character has powers or something, haha.

hmhm yeah I completely understand, I found it really hard to do realistic sort of writings but my dad suggested a bunch of great books and It gave me a better handle on realistic writing, it's now kind of become one of my favourite genres to write!
