Numair- 44 years old-Acer
Once in the middle of the living like area he placed his end in the ground. Well more he seemingly dropped it there before placing a hand on his leg as he doubled over. Julie saw this and made her way over to help him though she merely got pushed away. Without a word the man made his way back to the back room followed by Thaja. The woman sighed for a moment. "You'll have to excuse him. Ever since the accident he's been this way." The woman said picking Numair's end of the cot up. "Let's put them in the corner to begin with." As the child ran past them the woman scowled. "Yara no running in the house." The little girl stopped and crossed her arms over her chest with a deep frown on her face.
"Your mean!" The little girl shouted stomping her foot on the ground. Dhuka herself was throwing a fit as well as she sat on the ground pawing at the lioness.

Dagon Hajjar - 35(m) - Numairs home
As the suport from the other side of the cots disepeared he quickly fumbled with them, managing to make them enough so they wouldnt fall all over the place atleast. With that he looked towards Numair before just nodding at the woman. "Its okej." he reasured the woman before taking the help to place the cots in a courner. As the child got its outburst he shuckled a bit. "Reminds me of my oldest one." he noted. Full of energy, unable to stand still and a bit highspirited.
Atara - 22(f) - Numairs home
She looked up at the child with a cautious look on her face. Seriously? She calls her mom mean for that? The lioness looked up at her, gently buffing her so she came back to the moment. "Sorry sweetheart." she smiled, kissing the animal on her forehead. With a gentle purr the animal licked her over her face. "Thanks." she said , sitting down while just enjoying the comfort of the shadow that the roof over them provided from the sun.
As her human sat down she simply just walked around, sitting down on the other side of Atara so that she had some distance to the cub that aperantly didnt like her for the moment. With a yawn all her massive teeths got visable and once the nouth was closed she layed down, purring as Atara stroke her gently.

"Bless your soul." The woman said taking the first cot from the stack and putting it against the wall. "Just line them up on the wall, I'll make them as you set them up." For a moment she excused herself taking the little girl outside for a moment. Tara returned with tears in her eyes and arms crossed over her chest as she made her way towards the lioness. Julie returned with no words, though clearly she had scolded the child. Tara sat next to the lioness grumbling on about how mean her mother was.

He nodded, putting up the cots as instructed before simply makign his own just the way he liked it.
Atara - 22(f) - Numairs home
She looked at the child, pulling her legs up towards herself, leaning against them. As Algol noticed her getting upset the animal sat up, giving up a anxious sound while gently pushing her head against the woman. "its okej girl." she whisperd, putting her arm around the animal that just made a comforting sound to the woman that closed her hand into a fist as she heard the girl complain.

The man returned just as the last of the cots had been put in place. He was pale in the face, nearly as white as a sheet. The wound on his leg was acting up again, and there was nothing he could do more for it. The simple fact was that he had over worked it and now he was paying for it. Tomorrow would be hell. Julie could see the expression on his face as she made her way back to the kitchen to assure the food wasn't burning. "Dear you really shouldn't be up." She said stirring the pot of pottage. "You should go rest until dinner." She added giving him a almost desperate look. She was worried for him, he had already nearly died on her once but to almost lose him a second time? She wouldn't be able to stand it.
The cub gave up on her fit as the girl was scolded by her mother. Fine if no one would play with her then she would just go beg the adults for attention. With that the cub stood and waddled over to Dagon where she clumsily climbed up into his cot to roll about.
Shadir- 47 years old- Acer
The rooftops made a great place to watch all the happening of the city below, but sometimes to find the information one had to walk among the common folk. He heard many things on that walk, everything from how the local drunk pissed in the well, to how much the price of grain was going up. Discouraged the man returned to the others only to find the boy sitting at the bottom of the stairs with a dog just staring out into the street. It was an odd sight, though it could have been stranger to say the least. Still lookin at the boy the man climbed up the ladder and jumped down into the courtyard where he found Malik sitting as she ate in the fruit given to him earlier. "Do you have any clue as to why Darim is sitting at the bottom of the ladder out there?"
"Not the slightest." The older man answered upon being asked the question. "Though it's better than what he could be doing."
"How so?"
"Well for one he could be bugging us, or he could be looking to 'partner' up with Atara. If you catch my meaning."
"Is that all you can sit and think about?" Shadir asked a bit annoyed.
"When you get old you'll find you have a whole lot of time to think."

He got a tad surpriced by the cub simply invading his cot. With a shuckle he started playing with the animal. However he did pick her up and put her down before playing with the animal. It turned into some sort of gentle wrestling. This was honestly kinda fun to be honest. But as he bnoticed the bear getting a bit more agressive than the Ryo he had at home he realiced that he could be a bit more agressive as well without hurting the animal. he was still gentle and playfull but put more pressure into the game, the cub seemed to have plenty of energy to spare after all so he could just as well tire her out some. Shadir would probably prefer a tired cub over a exited one once he heads for bed as well.
Atara - 22(f) - Numairs home
Had she heard Maliks comment she would probably have laughed him in the face. Who the heck would want that?! They know about as much about her background as she does. There is nothing known about her, she is just a dressed up streetrat in the end. But as it was now she had no idea what was beeing said between Malik and Shadir. Instead she just sat quiet with her arm around Algol, her fist still clenched as she did her best to calm down. But it was all in vain as she heard the child once more mumble about how mean her parents are. "BE QUIET!" she more or less yelled at the child without realicing it. Her head had turned staring at the girl with cold eyes. "You have no idea what a mean parent are do you? So be quiet about it!" she said through gritting teeths. She didnt realice that both Numair and his wife was staring at her right now. Honestly she was just way to worked up over the kid beeing so crule and thoughtless towards her parents.

The man moved to interfere with the conversation but a glare from his wife stopped him. She was seriously going to let this woman speak to their child this way?! After a moment he backed away allowing the two to speak still. Maybe she was right, the girl needed someone bigger than her to strike fear into her heart. She needed a reason to fear her parents even if it was lightly. With that he turned and limped to on of the cots where he hastily took a seat the whole time still watching the woman.
The little girl jumped at the sound of yelling. "Yes I do!" She protested trying her best not to show that she was afraid of this woman. She was just as mean as mom and dad! "Their mean to me!" She said right back to the woman.
Finally someone who understood how to play! The cub happily played along with the man even if he had put her down on the ground the begin with. After a few moments of this intense play she began to tire before she fell asleep stretched out on her back with feet nearly in the air.

He smiled at the cub, her happiness for having found someone to play with was clear for everyone to see. It was kinda fun to be honest. The ryo back home didnt have much intrest in play anymore, and if it played it was with the kids and not him. More than anything the Ryo would just stay by his wives side. But as the cub simply fell asleep he stopped, just looking at it before glancing at Atara that was rather worked up. As she spoke to the girl he slowly paled a bit. Is ... is she serious?!

"Are you seriously calling them mean? You have no marks of beating, you are well feed, you have a house to live in. Thats a luxery. Thats not mean, thats spoiling you. I bet you havnt even been at the more shady blocks in this city have you? Well let me tell you a thing or two. If you go there, you will see kids on the street. They have broken bones, marks of beatings and are barley more than a skeleton at times. They take whatever job they get, or who they get. If you go into one of the few public outhouses and poke around a bit Im sure you will find a baby in it. Halfeaten by worms and maggots. Left there to be eaten alive simply because their parents didnt want them, or couldnt deal with them. How I know this?" she said everything with gritting teeths, furious and insulted by the childs easy use of the word mean to her parents. "My parents dumped me in a toilet. I wasnt fortunate enough to be drugged enough to sleep through it all. Instead I woke as the pests started eating through the skin of my back. It still looks horrible. But I guess I was lucky, a gang of streetrats picked me up, hoping they could sell me if i just survived. Girls picks a nice price you know. " she continued, glaring at the girl.
She had never really told anyone about how she was dumped as a child. But she still cant see maggots without feeling a sting of panic in her chest. "I was trained as a pickpocketer, to sit in the lap of old men. I was to small to start working properly but training is always fine. However i got away from there before I was sent to work. Through my entire childhood I was alone. I have no idea when im borned, I have no idea who my parents are. If i was sick I was alone, praying I wouldnt die.If i was injured there was noone to hug me. If i was scared or worried I was simply told to keep going on. I never had anyone watching over me. Many dont. So tell me, I dare you, tell me that your parents are mean." she said in a serious tone, staring straight at the girl.

"That's enough." Numair said standing. He wasn't going to just sit back and let a woman speak to his daughter in such a way. Angrily he stood taking the now sobbing girl in his arms before giving the woman a sour glance. "Why don't you go out and take a walk." He said more than asked before taking the child towards the back of the house. Thaja followed stopping only to glare at the woman whom had hurt her child. Julie said nothing as she took the pot from the stove and placed it on the counter. She had no words, it was uncalled for yes but if it helped keep her in line it was needed.

He sat quiet, looking between Numair and Atara. In this short moment he had learned more about Atara than he had done the entire time she had been at the creed. Quietly he looked after the man as he carried his daughter to the back of the house. Honestly he himself would have litterly thrown her out thought, not ... asking ... her to leave.
Atara - 22(f) - Numairs home
She stoped talking as she heard the man. She said nothing but looked up at gim. "Fine ..." was all she said. With that said she pulled down her hood and walked to the door. After her came Algol with a concearned look on its face. As she got out she almost tripped on Darim. "Sorry" she just mutterd, not really caring much about it. The lioness thought , stroke gently against the man before rushing after Atara. It took her a bit of time before she started to run, as she did the animal followed her with swift movements Once they had gotten up on the roofs and run for some time she stopped, taking deep breaths to calm down and try to collexct her thoughts. "i messed up, didnt i girl?" she asked as she hugged the animal, hiding her face in the fur.
