It's still alive, at least. But the pup is also shivering with cold. It seems pretty vulnerable, despite its floofy pelt.

She climbed over some branches that dangled over a flat rock big enough for her to jump on it but she also didnt know how good this big cat could swim she didn't want to risk it instead she made sure the bag was tight around her and jumped down from the tree darting between some rocks before jumping up a big enough rock and resting on top of it

The cougar paces after you, but it doesn't run. It must know that you can easily out-maneuver it.

You can feel the pup curl up tightly in the bag. After a few minutes, you begin to hear the faint snuffles it makes in its sleep.

The cougar meanders up to the base of the rock and glares at you. Standing on its hind legs again, it tries to reach you, but can't - and it doesn't seem to have the energy to jump up.

Huffing in disappointment, it lies down with its back to the rock.
