The 3 of them walked inside, with the sound of sirens behind them. They walked to the front of the crowd, and froze. " W-what happened to her? " Vix said. Josh and Ash said nothing.

One of the EMTs checked her vitals then started yelling up at other EMts to hurry up and get a stretcher. The one EMT started talking to a police officer. "She's alive, but just barely. I had to check many different places to find a heartbeat. So far, it looks like-" what the EMT said was cut off by lots of other EMTs carrying a stretcher and placing her on it. They started carrying her out to the ambulance and drove off, sirens wailing.

Josh was the first to speak. " Let's follow them. " Josh said as he headed out the door. " I'll catch up. I want to find out what happened. " Ash said. I nod, and went to follow Josh.

The ambulance sped towards the nearest hospital and got her hooked up to a bunch of machines. They arrived at the hospital, some carrying Lani, others carrying the equipment. The heart rate moniter barely gave a beep...beep...beep and her blood pressure was extremely low. They got her in room 114 and set down all the equipment

They arrived at the hospital about 10 minutes later. The lady at the front desk looked up from her computer at them, then back down. " Patient name? " she asked us, still without looking up. " Lani Baker. " Josh said. She typed something in her computer, probably her name. " Room 114. You can't go in though, since they just set her. So you will have to wait outside. " she said. " and you'll need a visitors pass. " After she gave us our visitors pass, we used to elevator to get to the room, and stood outside.

Lani saw blurry people, then it went black again. A nurse went in, then went out and a doctor went in. The doc realized she was drifting in and out of consousness and put of glass of water on the bedside table, knowing there wasn't much else he could do until she was fully awake.

The doctor walked out, and saw the pair. " Are you family? " he asked, approaching them. " No, we're friends. " Vix said. He nods. " Do you know if she has any family? " he asked us. " She has a younger brother. She didn't say anything about parents, so they might not live around here. " she explained. " Alright. Can you sign these forms? " He says as he hands us forms. We both nod, and sign them, then hands them back. " You can go in, but she may not be conscious. " he says. We nodded once more, then went in.

Lani was still drifting in and out of consiousness

" I don't think shes conscious. Or at least staying conscious. " Vix says. Josh nods, and sits down it a chair next to the bed. Vix sits down in that couch place by the window. (From my own, hospital experiences.)

All Lani could hear was the steady beep...beep...beep... of the moniter. She wondered if anybody had even cared that she had passed out
