The mare already ate all the berries, but the foal seems happy enough sniffing you. You doubt the mare understood what you said, but she grunts in response anyways.
I carefully pet the foal, checking with the mare before I touch it to make sure she's fine with it.

I attempt to grab the fish with my hands as they leap out of the water.
It takes a few tries, but eventually you are able to catch a decently sized fish.
You have gained an item: medium raw fish!

As you reach slowly for the foal, his mother bats your hand away with her nose and pins her ears in warning, seeming tense again.

I slowly move my hand back putting them in the air where she can clearly see them to show I'm not gonna hurt/touch the foal.
