After two hours of preparation, Serenity rode out of the town and on the way to the capital.

You ride for two days without much happening. On the third day you realize that you are running out of food. It will take eight or ten days to reach Valon, the nearest city. However, if you remember correctly, there should be a village less than a day's ride ahead. You could restock there. On the other hand, you could try hunting. But with only a sword and dagger, the odds of success don't look too good. Unless you have another idea?
