SparrowSong soon found FangTalon's den. She hesitantly stood outside his den. What do I say? What if he doesn't want to talk, or see me ever again! she thought worriedly.

*Fangtalon*

I smell Sparrowsong's scent right outside my den and I sigh softly.
"What do you want Clan Cat?" I say light-heartedly, but my voice ends up sort of flat. I stand up and push the half-eaten mouse aside, poking my head out of the den.
"Well you might as well come in then" I say after a moment.

She flicked her tail and entered the den. She sat down in a corner and curled her tail around her paws. "My leader told me that I must know where my loyalties lie complete. But I am torn between my clan and the cat who saved my life..." she said in a soft voice.

*Fangtalon*

I look over at her, my two different colored eyes thoughtful, and yet sad as well.
"Well I am probably the last cat you should look to for advice, I personally hate the Clans, but I would probably think about them differently if I had lived in one my whole life. Then again maybe not. All I know is that even my brother cares more about his Clan then his blood so I suppose your Clan must mean a lot to you as well. That and the fact that I am really..... not a very good cat to be around. I was raised to know survival of the fittest, so I know many cats think I have a bit of a cold heart. Plus, your Clans didn't seem to understand that I just wanted my only kin to be safe. Anyways, I guess you should just do what you think is best" I pause for a moment and sigh. "You should go back to your Clan, they probably depend on you, and we can still meet in secret if you want to be friends that badly" I chuckle. "Just know I will always be here if you need me" I tell her.

"That's the thing. I don't think my leader likes me serious or anything. But I also noticed that being a clan isn't all I wished it would always be. I've been hinting about running away from clan life." She admitted quietly.

*Fangtalon*

"Well I think you should just go with what you want, not what someone else wants for you. But be warned, sometimes I tend to wander" I chuckle light-heartedly.

She gave him a shy look. "Well, EbbPaw will be fine on his own..." she said shuffling her paws slightly. "Could I stay here until I find a place to stay? I could help with hunter and stuff." She asked softly.

*Fangtalon*

"Of course" I purr, smiling softly. "You may stay here as long as you like, the life of a rouge can actually be quite nice once you get used to it" I promise.

She gave him a warm smile. "Shall we go hunting or do you have enough prey?" She asked, eager to help.

*Fangtalon*

I eye the pile of prey in the back of the den.
"We have enough for now, don't need much when it's just the two of us. But we should probably go take a sniff around and see if any other rouges are trying to settle tot close to us" I say, knowing she just wants to help. "It's nice to have company after being alone so long, the only conversations being arguments with other random rouges" I grin.
