"Yikes...." Frost said quietly, ears flattened. "I didn't think Blood was the kind of person who's interested in plates. I'll be right there," she got up and went to help, leaving the computer on.

Piper's hands were cut up with dark almost black blood bubbling up on the surface of her gloves. "Oh no, Blood is gonna be mad because the plate was a family heirloom. Well she doesn't care that much, but she seriously hates sweeping up glass 'cause it just flies every where."

"Makes sense," Frost said, sweeping some of the porcelain shards into her hand. Her tail bobbed up and down as she worked. "Like it's not like she'll go stir crazy right? What should I do with these?"

"Throw 'em in the trash, and no Blood doesn't go stir crazy...well okay once but that was when a whole bunch of random strangers just invited them selves in." Piper was scooping bits of china into a black trash baggie. She bit her lip in concentration, her jagged bat-like wings trailed behind her as she crawled scooping up china. (Piper the hedgehog got herself all cut up in the hands, ImmagogetabandaidorsomethingnowforPiper :/)

Frost nodded and brushed the remaining glass off her hands and into the bag. She trotted back to the computer and looked at the top of the screen where a blinking bar read: "More children gone missing in Central Square. G.U.N. Investigating." She clicked the link and read over the article. Murders, children gone without a trace, and a bunch of fancy government abbreviations. She let out a long sigh and slid down in her seat.

Piper let out a secretive sigh of relief. "At least it wasn't the plate with the hidden camera and earpiece in it, Blood would've strangled me. Who ever thought of using a plate to spy on suspects.." She muttered from the kitchen applying adhesive band-aid to her hands, since her gloves were ruined now.

Frost stared at the computer until it went into sleep mode. "The world's going down the drain. No wonder we need bands of rebels to fix things," she huffed. Standing up, she went outside and sat on a step. A cool breeze ruffled her fur and she smiled.

Sunburst dropped the tennis rack. "Oh hey Frost." The ball bounced off behind a bush.

"Hey Sunn-- do you prefer Sunburst or Sunny?" Frost said, perking up.

Sunburst shrugged, "As long as you don't start calling me Sparky I don't mind what you call me by."
