Itami sighs and stares at the trees before heading in. Can't be that hard finding a concept of universal force, right? he asks himself. Yeah, right. Helooks looks up at the treetops. Now, assuming Hitari is Hitari, he probably got here through the trees, meaning Chaos is likely up there now. . . He glares at the dry branches. Which is great; simply fabulous. There's only a couple trees out here.

"He's grown. . .soft," Zandaka says quietly. "I never thought I would see the day."

Ah, it's been the time for surprises, Chaos replies. There's a bit more in store. I've been considering opening the borders to Hitari's little friends.

Zandaka frowns. "That. . .I suppose no balance would be disrupted unless someone was erased. It would be okay with me."

Rin looks around at the treetops, feeling surpassingly useless and small. After all, the only people he's met so far are Shiawase, Itami and Hitari. He watches Itami scour the trees, half hoping he finds something and half hoping he doesn't. He closes his eyes, feeling the wind push his hair into his face. This is like some sick joke. Sometimes I find myself thinking I'll wake up soon, but no. This isn't a dream. More like a nightmare than anything.

There's been a bit of another security issue, but it's being worked on. This just means you won't be able to send messages through the inbox or read bios until everything's back to normal.)

If this weren't reality, it would certainly be some kind of cruel, lucid dream.

Shiawase stirs and shifts again, her head lightly tapping against the dense wood of the house's front wall. She'll probably be up soon, if nothing hits her on the head decently hard.

The best place to start would be the top, I suppose, Itami mutters as he walks up to the base of the tree nearest to him. Boy, have things changed from when I went up a tree last. He begins climbing up the rough surface, gripping miniscule, nearly invisible, holds along the way - although, he's probably forgetting he could just whoosh up there.

Zandaka inches herself a little ways from the edge of the tree's canopy, putting Itami out of her sight. "Chaos, are you certain it was wise to allow the first here? You even sent a kind of drawing beacon, no?"

Chaos sighs. You may be the wisest of you four, but that does not mean you know all of our plans or intentions yet. Just think about it as. . .an experiment. Perhaps, one day, there will only be one world in this universe. A single world made of the best of them all; following that accomplishment, we could expand to a singular universe. Everything would be simpler.

". . .as long as you promise to cut the strings soon. Now, hush," Zandaka says, lowering her voice. "Silence until he finds us. I will merely act to be weary, and you will do your obvious part." She shifts herself into a comfortable position and lightly closes her eyes, like a pin dropping could wake her.

(yikes. Seems Krin must have resolved that by now though, which is a good thing ^^)
Rin watches Itami climb the tree, reminded a little of the time Itami tried to kill him a couple nights ago. How the tables have turned, He thinks ruefully. Although come to think of it, I still don't know why he's been less...... hostile with me. Confusing, really.

Itami pulls himself to the tree's level top, brushing microscopic splinters from his hands. Alright, now let's see, he says, glancing around. There's a pretty good chance that - His sentence dies as he stares at a tree about fifteen feet away - a tree that has a gaseous, shady blob and someone sleeping beside it. - that. . .Chaos is somewhere. . .up here. . . He squints. Is. . .is that. . .?

Tentatively, he leap-of-faiths to them, nearly slamming into the trunk. Uh, hi?

Itami winces a little. Don't call me that. He points at Zandaka. What, in the fresh cosmos, is she doing here.

Sleeping, clearly. I thought that was a tad. . .obvious. Chaos swirls, seeming bored. No, she came here in quite a rush upon hearing me. Apparently she was far enough that it was a little exhausting.

Itami opens his (non-existent?) mouth, then shuts it, then opens it again. I'll be right back.

He practically launches himself from the tree and jogs over to you. Yeah, yeah, they're. . .there. That's for sure. I think I'll just - Itami lies on the ground and assumes the fetal position.

Oh, now I'm gonna die, he thinks to himself. She's gonna be so pissed at me once she wakes up and sees how everything's going to crap.

No, it's fine, Itami squeaks, seeming uncharacteristically shaken. Everything's perfect. Everyone's here. No one's missing now, and that's just. . great.

You hear a slight sound of rustling as Shiawase lifts her head, rubbing at her eyes. She's too recently awoken to notice you two at the moment, and seems a bit dazed.

A child, a cipher, and a foreigner, Chaos replies. He is simply confused, and seeing you after a while would probably remind Itami of. . .other times.

"Mm. I assume it's part of your. . .what, game? Plan? What exactly are you calling it?"

An experiment, which it truly is. And yes, it does play a small part.

Rin glances at Shiawase. Well, at least she's not dead or in a coma or something. But to be entirely honest, seeing Itami as afraid as he is is....... a little bit frightening.
