Elenor bristled, her ears perking up and concentrating her mind on her hearing. She could have sworn she just heard roaring. She ducked into the next alleyway and scrambled up onto the rooftops, alert.

"Watch it!" Ember hissed as she walked straight into another dragon. She clutched her satchel tightly, tripping over the dragon's tail. "What do you think you're doing?" She hissed again, regaining her posture to bare her teeth.

Zilla returned to the crowded street. She carefully walked around. She wasnt going to run into another dragon, she didnt want this experience again. Sure she had somewhat enjoyed the interaction but it was just gonna be another problem for her.

(Sorry, did you trip over Elenor?)

Elenor huffed, unable to find the source of the roaring, returning to the busy street. She rubbed her temples, willing the slight aching in her head to go away, for a moment not looking where she is going.

Elenor curls her tail up, splaying out her wings and baring her teeth right back at the clumsy fool of a dragon regaining her footing before her.

"I was walking, like all the other normal-" she choked slightly on the word but carried on, "-dragons here. Just fine before you barreled into me," she growls. "You watch it."

"Why you insolent starfish! Do you have any idea wh-" Ember stopped herself. No. That was against herself. She couldn't let this arrogant dragon know that she was the one they called Blood. She'd be instantly locked up, even killed. And if she killed this dragon right now, she'd have nowhere to run to with all these witnesses.

Ember hooked a talon around the strap of her satchel and adjusted it, puffing out her chest. "I would advise you to keep your scales in check."

Elenor hesitated before responding. This dragon was hiding something - something important. Why had a spark of fear shown up in her eyes? What was it she had been about to say? Now she was puffing up her chest in an attempt to look imposing, but backing down at the same time - shutting the conversation down.

It was no doubt she was about to say something like 'who do you think you are talking to?' Everyone pulled that trick. It was one of the first scenarios she had been put through in... she didn't finish the thought, instead focusing back on the here and now. Time to go on the offensive.

"So? Enlighten me. Just who am I talking to?" Elenor drawled, furling her wings back again and picking at her talons, looking disinterested.

Ember raised her head high.

"Kona."

An easily fabricated name. It was Swan's sister...a name she had often muttered in her sleep as Ember would watch her, or attend to the fire, or plan their next stay. Now it was merely a disguise, as she couldn't let this dragon to know anything about who she was. She'd been using this name for years when it was absolutely necessary to allow herself to be seen.
