Darim-23 years old- Acer Front Gate
"Not this again..." The older man huffed as he wrapped his one arm about the boy's middle. Darim smirked as he kicked the white gelding in his side. The horse bolted to the side instead of going forward, sliding down the deep embankment thus cutting the girl off as they reached the road. Sure it wasn't completely fair but she never said no short cuts did she? Once at he gate he stopped and turned to look at her.
"Ha beat you this time!" He bragged a bit proud at himself though it was short lived as he received a slap to the back of his head.
"I swear, if you do anything of that sort again it wont be your luck that with beat you." Malik growled before sliding down off the horse. "Shadir, where is your contact? Was he not to meet us here?" Darim glared at the man before looking back at Atara.
Shadir-47 years old- Acer Front Gate
"He will be here, just give him a bit of time." The man answered as he took a good look around. "They certainly have a lot more guards than last I was here." He said with a sigh. "It wont be easy to get in with out a group of scholars. Or Numair." ******...they could possibly climb the wall though there was a chance that there would be guards up on the wall as well. They could possibly make a group on their own, they did have more to their group to blend with. Normally there would just be one of them, now though there was five. That may just work.

Dagon Hajjar - 35(m) - Acer Front Gate
As he saw how close Darim was to crash straight into Atara it took all his willpower not to yell out /MOT! What have i said about such beaviour?/. But rather than saying anything he just quietly shaked his head, letting his horse find its way down. As he finally got down to Shadir, Malik, Darim and Atara, who by the way seemed steamingly mad at loosing he easly jumped of his horse. With the reins in his hand he lead the animal towards the side before bending his legs, picking something up. With a smile he stood up, gently moving his hand as the little lizard moved around it. Ashtoreth, his youngest child, would love this. She just adores lizards. For her its the best pets ever. The small creature somehow gave him some sort of comfort as he felt the connection to his daughter through the lizard that all of a sudden crawled up his arm, resting on his shoulder. With a short smile he let the animal rest as it wanted, giving the impression that it was the master and its pet rather than something he found just now.
Atara - 22(f) - Acer Front Gate
She noticed Darim just in time to stop. As the young man and the old man behind him aproached quickly she sat up straight, leaning backwards and putting her entire weight in the saddle and pulling the reins. The poor animal literly threw himself backwards, ending almost sitting on its hindlegs. The animal gave up a neigh and as Darim rushed of she jumped of the horse, looking at the animals legs she sighed a bit before leading the animal down the path. It had scratched its left backleg on a rock as it stoped and its mouth was aching from the harsh pulling of the reins. "Im sorry boy." she said, stroking the animal as she walked it down the road. Once she got down she saw Darim looking at her so she glared back at him. Its one thing to cheat a bit to win, she dont mind that. But her horse got injured from it! That is two compleatly diffrent scenarios.

Darim-23 years old- Acer Front Gate
There was anger in her eyes, he could see it as clear as day. "Sorry about that." He said sliding from the horse. "Got a bit carried away." Nervously he scratched the back of his head as he looked for her forgiveness. Well there went any chance he had with her so far. If there was anything he knew about women it was that they held grudges. Like that one time father had forgotten that he promised to take him and the boys out while she got some rest. That had been when they were somewhat younger but she still told the tell of how she again beat him in a fight. Mother had always been able to beat father when in combat, save for that one time her armor had gotten in the way back when she was a templar. He had spared her though, and at that moment she knew he was the man for him. Now though Darim wasn't sure how to respond to a situation such as this. It had been a game, until he had beat her. Hadn't father said that was one thing you never did? You were never to beat a woman at anything, it made her think you were a show off and she would never fall for you then.
Shadir-47 years old- Acer Front Gate
"Right then, Dagon could you go with Malik and see if there is a way over the wall? I'm going to go see if Numair is even on his way." With that Shadir left the group, with the cub at his heels, and made his way to the gate. Where could that man be? It was unlike him to be this late. Trouble maybe? Hopefully not. Unlike them, Numair wasn't much of a fighter. He hadn't really finished his training before the accident. Hopefully he was okay. Dhuka whimpered at his side as she begged to be held, as a means to escape the burning sand that was hurting her feet. "Oh hush now, your quiet fine down there it's just a bit of sand is all." The man said to her with a smile.
Numair- 44 years old-Acer
"Come on Thalaj! We are late enough as it is!" The man called as he raced through the streets. The cat like animal followed close behind him in a half run. She knew well that he couldn't keep this up forever, that nasty wound on his leg wouldn't let him for the most part. With all the running they had already done he was lucky he could still stand let alone run. Despite her warnings though he refused to listen as he half limped half ran along. The man stop after about a block, bending over to take a breath. He had over done it this time. He couldn't stop now though! Shadir was waiting for him outside the gate, to not meet them meant that they couldn't get in the city! "Thalaj, go lead them inside. The guards know you after all. I'l meet you there alright?" The cat mewed and did as told, trotting off to the gate.

"Yes sir" he said by pure reflex and walked with Malik. The small, really tiny izard on his shoulder moved a bit as he waked next to the man. His darkbrown eyes looked around them while cautiously walking across the sand. "People seems to walk here a lot" he noted, probably mostly for himself. The wall wa quiet worn, as if people dragged themselves against it on a regular basis. While humming a bit he walked close by the wall, letting his hand gently stroke the rouch surface.
Atara - 22(f) - Acer Front Gate
"A bit carried away? You can say that again, my horse have scrapped up his right backleg." she said in sour tone. She could take loosing the race. It no problem. But the way he had forced her to act was just moronic! What if they had to get away quickly? Not only might the aimal leave small trails of blood but it may also not be able to move as it should. When shadir left the group and Dagon walked of with Malik she begun to tend to the wound on the animals leg. Well this is the best she could do for now. Honestly she was furious right now. How the hell could he just cut her of like that?! Its freaking dangerous for both them and the animals! Algol simply layed down next to her, cleaning her fur.

"It's not that bad, is it?" He asked looking down at her as she worked with the animal. Despite what it seemed he didn't mean to hurt the animal. It was just a race, he thought he had had more time to cut them off though his own horse had hesitated and the gap was shorter than he wanted it to be. "Look I'm sorry, I didn't mean for anyone to get hurt, not even the horse." Darim felt bad for having won, and injuring the horse all at the same time. "I can help you get him fixed up if you want me to."
Numair- 44 years old-Acer
Thalaj came back with a pigeon in her mouth. "Thalaj, that's not Shadir...." The man huffed rolling his eyes a bit and running a hand through his hair. "It's alright, I'll just walk slow and we will get to the gate together." With that he stood and limped towards the gate. The bandage that was about his leg still, that one that kept the sore scar from rubbing with his steps, tightened with each step reminding him that he need no to over due it. "Now, what to say when we meet them! Goodness it has been so long!" He laughed a bit at the thought of meeting this group of long lost friends.

She looked at him, first not wanting to say anything but as he seemed genuinly worries she relaxed a bit. "its not to bad, but he will be strained a couple of day and the wound soar." she said, gently stroking the animal as she stood up straight once more. If they had water she could atleast clean the wound seriously, as it was now she had simply used what little she had had left in her waterbottle. It wasnt much and had barley helped at all, If any. As it was now it had merley made the wound wet. Barley. "Im not sour about loosing the race, I assure you so dont worry. Im just angry for my animal." she said after a moment in silence.

"Well we wont be using them for a few days, so he should be alright." That was IF they even got back then. There was a great possibility that they would die on this mission, seeing if they bit off more than they could chew to begin with. "I'll hel pin any way I can." He offered looking down at the ground and scratching the back of his head. He had heard what Shadir and Dagon had said about him and Atara. Two love struck kids. So what he liked her yeas, she was nice to him for the most part but that didnt mean he had anything else on his mind! No right now all he cared about was finding his father and mother before someone found out of their plan and tried to stop them.
Malik-
"So your a friend to Shadir no?" The older man asked after a rather long silence. His body was still weak and thin though he had an air about him that was stronger. His steps seemed sure and steady despite his appearance. The first night they had been out his fever had broke and he slowly began to regain all he had lost. "You don't seem close enough to be brothers though." More or less the man was just trying to figure out relations to everyone. He was sure that the scamp name Darim was in a relationship with Atara, his mother would be pleased at least. Dagon though seemed only to speak with Shadir, and that was when spoke to first. Maybe he was just the strong silent type was all.
Numair- 44 years old-Acer
Once at the gate he stopped and looked about for Shadir. There, with the little cub he spoke of in the letters! They had made it, though he say no one else sporting the white robes. Maybe an ambush took the rest out? Or had he thought it safer to tell them to stay behind? No matter the case, he was here to say the least. With a slight wobble he made his way to the man. "Safety and peace Shadir!" He called out before hugging the man as you would a long lost friend. "It's been far too long!"
"Safety and peace, Numair." For once the man gave a slight smile. He was right, it had been ages. Too long had they been apart, ever since that day. Though the man only seemed to walk with a limp no worse than his own, it was clearly stated in his eyes that he was in pain. An injury like that doesn't go away over night.
"Where are the others?" The man with the black cloak asked looking about as if to try and spot them in the crowd. Shadir released him from the hug before pointing in the general directions of the two groups. "Good, we'll speak more later. For now let's just get everyone to the bureau."

"Im a bit younger than Shadir. And I was a few years old when my uncle took me to the creed. My father never had the talent nor the will to work with this. So he moved away to live with my mother and her family. Once I got there Shadir was one of few people I got along with. He seemed to understand that I dont necessarly need words to express my self, or understand others. I prefer to say nothing if I dont have anything to add." with this said he was quiet for some time before scratching his neck a bit. "Shadir is probably the closest I have to a friend. I know only one or two others Id trust with my kids." he said, gently scratching the little lizard on his shoulder. As he did this the creature protested by biting his finger. The animal was simply rewarded with a flick of the finger, making it fly of and into some bushes. This, everything he had just said was more than he had been saying for the five days it had taken them to travel here. Almost double to be honest.
Atara - 22(f) - Acer Front Gate
"I guess you are right" she said nodding slowly. As the animal gently pushed her she pushed back before scratching it in its forehead. "How loong do you think it will take untill they are back?" she asked after some time of uncomfterble silence. The brightblue lioness that got a tad jelous of the horses attention from her and squeesed herself between Atara and the animal. With a shuckle she bent her knees and gently stroke the blue animal. "Dont worry daring, you are still my family" she reasured Algol that started to purr in pure happyness. "Thats better, isnt it beutiful?" she asked the animal that stroke its head against hers.

"Not long. It seems Shadir has already met with Numair, now we just need Malik and Dagon back." The man answered looking at the woman strangly before turning away. It didn't seem that she had many other friends, save for the lioness. The way she talked to the animal was almost amusing. He himself had never had a pet, father didn't allow it. Not that he wanted one, they seemed to only be good at helping in a fight. It would be nice though, when you were alone to have someone there for you. If one happened to come his way he would take the opportunity sure but until then he wasn't going to go out looking.
Malik-
"Sounds like my relations with Altair. We used to fight like cats and dogs we did, though now he has mellowed some. Thank whatever God there is for that." The older man chuckled before looking back in the direction they had came. "Looks as if they are ready to get going."

He looked at the older man, raising an eyebrow. He had mellowed down? It takes two to have a bickering so he doubts that Altair was the only one who had mellowed down. However it is hard to recognice ones own faults. He probably have lots that he dont think about, or notices. As he heard the comment he looked back and nodded in silence. With that done he simply started to wander back to where they had split up.
Atara - 22(f) - Acer Front Gate
"Oh" she said, looking up at him before the lioness craved her attention once more. "Not now sweetheart, later Il brush your fur untill it sparkles" she smiled at the animal that purred as if it understood the promiss that had been given to her. After giving her a lick in the face the animal simply walkd up to Darim, stroking against his legs, looking more like a massive housecat than anything else. "I did something funny?" she asked as she noticed his face. He looked really amuzed right now to be honest.
