Hitari is still sitting against the trunk, barely managing to stay awake. "Well, this isn't very fun," he mutters. "So much for being safe."

"Yeah, I'll probably just die soon enough," Rin says quietly. "What with all the cosmic baddies that are apparently after me."

You're an anomaly, Itami says, sounding. . .wistful? Something that doesn't belong here. It's like making an omelet, but then a bird flies in and drops a feather falls on it. It's a mistake, but outside of your and the bird's control. He scratches his head. That doesn't really make sense, now does it? At any rate, you should just be happy you haven't caught Zandaka's attention. . .wherever and whenever she is. . .

Rin is about to say something bleak and desolate back, but before he can reply, Felix flutters out of the trees and lands next to the two. "Well..... he came out of nowhere," Rin notes. "I wonder if that means he found something....?{

Something does seem. . .urgent, Itami says, watching the owl. I suppose it'd be worth asking. He crouches down, keeping his eyes on the small bird. Hey, uh. . .Felix, was it? Did you. . .find something?

Felix shies away from the larger of the two humanoids- the owl doesn't like the aura he gives off. He hisses at the man. Felix hops onto Rin, perching lightly on the boy's shoulder.

Rin sighs. "I'll just-" His eyes flash orange, and he appears to be communicating with the owl. Rin's eyes widen. "He says," The boy reports, "That he saw..... a woman, in a white dress, sleeping under a tree. Not far from here. That sounds like..... but why would....." Rin shakes his head, closing his eyes. "Urgh. Nothing makes sense right now."

Well, for Shiawase to simply be sleeping, she either ran out of energy and felt it safe enough to rest, or. . .no, that's really the only option, Itami says, glaring at the owl. So that's. . .good. Definitely. . .good.

Chaos sighs to themselves. My cipher, I worry for you. You are still a lost child; the only reason why I still remain. And that counts for all of you. . .

Felix glares back at Itami, shuffling over to Rin's other shoulder just in case.

Heh. Cowardly bird, Itami thinks, then shakes his head slightly. My. It's just an animal. It doesn't really have a choice.

We might as well head over to her, then, he says, sounding a bit antsy. Then we can all look together, or hole up at the very least.

Disturbances be sought, now, Chaos says to themselves. Now that you are asleep, everything feels. . .awfully calm. It has been some time since such silence. The order is chaotic in itself.

Hitari shifts in his sleep.

You sleep, and the balance changes to let him wake. That, I cannot help, Hitari. You must do it yourself. The best I can do is keep you from completely falling asleep.
