The area is peacefully quiet - apart from the wind rustling dead leaves, but still.

Itami mutters something and shifts, but doesn't wake.

"This is stupid," Hitari mutters to himself. "I'm not going to be able to sleep here, especially knowing he can get up any second. . ."

He glances around - which is useless, considering he still can't see. "Maybe I can just. . .run out. . .?"

Getting up, he starts speedwalking in a random direction. "Not like there's anything better to do."

At some point, the wind rustles Felix's branch, waking him up, but the little owl quickly drifts back asleep.

Hitari keeps up the pace, then begins to break into a run. "If there is anything," he pants. "Running is always quicker than wal - " His sentence is cut off as he suddenly falls straight down - some kind of pit?

"Oh, this isn't good - " Hitari exhales. Looking below, he can see. . .something. Not necessarily light, but something. "I really hope that won't hurt to land on. . ."

Hitari, still unconscious and bound to the tree, jolts, rousing Shiawase awake. "Hitari?" she whispers. ". . .are you awake?" She waits for a response, but never gets one.

Stop being so damn loud, Itami says quietly from a few feet away. A whisper for you is like a normal person's outdoor talk.

Rin stirs in his sleep, but doesn't wake up yet.

"Ugh, it's feels like I've been falling forever," Hitari says to himself. Looking down, he sighs. "At least that point is getting bigger. That's. . .that's good. That means I'm moving." Glancing up to where he fell, he's not surprised to see nothing. "I hope this works, at least to some degree."

"Sorry, Itami - oh. Your arm is healed?" Shiawase whispers.

I wasn't sleeping for the fun of it, Itami whispers back. I even stated it was for recovery. He gingerly lifts his regrown? new? arm, rolling his shoulder. Doesn't mean it's not a little stiff -

Itami looks over at you. Oh, the kid's asleep too. Eh, I suppose Rin'd be tired. I think I've only seen him sleep once.

Shiawase hides a smile. Hehe. Itami tries to act so independent and strong, yet I think that child has found a way to his heart, she thinks to herself. He truly seems to care about you, Rin.

Itami clears his throat. Anyway. We're probably going to need to move at one point, considering we're essentially sitting next to a live eraser.

Felix wakes up on his branch. Hissing at Hitari, he swoops over to a branch closer to Rin. The owl seems to take a liking to the boy.
(oh no, Whyyyyy do I constantly ping the wrong people :P)

Hitari winces and slaps his hands over his ears. Seemingly out of nowhere, a high-pitched buzz has started ringing, its source unknown. Oh, I really hope. . .that's not sounding up there, too - he thinks to himself. Otherwise I might have a problem -

Shiawase looks puzzled. "An eraser?"

Yeah, you know, Itami says quietly, waving his hand at Hitari. He essentially erases worlds, which just makes him a stellar eraser.

Shiawase snorts, then starts to laugh loudly. What's funny? Itami asks. I'm not wrong.

"No, no, you aren't," Shiawase giggles. "It's just. . .you never have cared about things this much, especially the wellbeing of others. You're even staying quiet for Rin to rest."

Itami falls silent and stares at her, bluescreening.

Rin still appears to be fast asleep. The boy's expression is far more peaceful than it usually is when he's awake.

A blinding nothingness silently encompasses Hitari, the tone only growing more painful. Hitari can feel himself passing out.

Hitari suddenly jolts again, but this time is different - not only is it remarkably more forceful; his eyes fly open. He seems a bit sluggish, too slow to recognize anything happening.

Itami snaps out of it and scrambles backward. Oh, that - that was fast - Groping his hand around, he manages to pick up his stick. Told you we should've moved.

Shiawase, panicking, gives a little shriek and scoots several feet away from Hitari, nearly colliding into you.
