Hm I already had an idea of what I wanted to do for Casey's world.
Its name is Lai'anna (Lie-ahn-nah). Its very 1700s mixed with medieval, with piracy being a huge issue. As for things it has to offer, its not technologically advanced, but the land is rich. Its full of jewels and unique resources. And the soil itself is fertile, they grow a variety of fruits. The only ways for getting around are by horse, or more often than not, sea. The lands vary from egyptian/middle eastern like, to south american. So no matter where you go its always hot, never cold, and its either a dry heat or a wet heat. Pick your poison. (The people who come from it are called "Lai'annish" Or simply "Lai'ans")
The terrain is almost completely flat, most cities and such built directly next to, and on the water. (And they have *alot* of water.)
There are frequent small civil wars between rural tribes.
Magic isnt very prominent in people, and people who do have magic stay quiet in fear of being hunted down or taken advantage of. There are many magical creatures though, dragons, pegasus, dryads, unicorns, hippocampus. They are all wild, and hard to tame, besides that they're also hunted for things like, their horns, or scale.
This world see's Legends as lucrative figures with bad intentions. They think people who have magic are up to no good, and couldn't use it for good anyway. Their views don't change, even if the Legend doesn't have magic and only fights with weapons or wits.

I guess mine would be spirit/light planet thing.
So Alastor would come from the dark spirit side and Astra would come from the light magical side.
(So I guess my thing we would be heavily magic based)
So they are from the planet Canopus the terrain is normally dark and flat and devoid of life, a few twisted trees dot the forest, but usually a mysterious dark fog obscures them or kills them. The inhabitants in the valley are known for their ability to manipulate the mist, those who couldn't fled to the two prominent mountains in the area.
One of them became inhabited by those whose powers were based on the shadows and death, and as time went on the terrain became harder to navigate with several possibilities of death for those venturing to the top of the mountain.
On the other hand the other mountain became inhabited by those whose powers were based on light and life, tall trees of gold started growing around the mountain, being the one source of light in the planet Canopus, here mysterious forms of animals and planets had shelter from the death in the spirit realm and the dark fog that surrounded them.
However war is always on the verge in this planet, the Canopians bend the fog wanting to conquer both mountains again.

Fine since everyone's using fantasy stuff, I'll go the opposite direction yay I can use Harvard but Erwen's not from around here oof
Aidana - Lots of technology, towering skyscrapers, magic is regarded as volatile and most people hate it, mostly humans with the occasional hybrid here and there, and other creatures never stay long. They're constantly expanding, and those that don't have anything to contribute usually leave as well. Not a nice place for a family, they say some of the tech they use messed up the climate and it's usually dark and rainy. There's no pollution though - think about someone who regularly uses super chemical loaded soap, it'll be clean as heck but not good for their skin. The lack of crime is quite nice, though, if you're not a scientist or an inventor, they have a lovely band of enforcement... not quite the police, but they get their jobs done twice as efficiently but not always as pleasantly.

It's pretty uncertain, but definitely chaotic. Very chaotic. He usually only cares for himself, but if there's something good he can do on the way, he doesn't mind doing it as long as it doesn't put himself in further danger because of it. He's somewhere in the grey area between good and evil. Would rather not do anything unless it will directly affect him, he prefers to just watch.
Personality
Action rather than thought, his worse fault is impulsiveness. If he doesn't know what to feel or do, find a way to fix it. He's all about doing rather than thinking things through first, and it's difficult to convince him to sit and wait when he could be doing something. He's just difficult to convince in general. If he has his mind set on something, it'll be done first thing. He has a one-track mind and can't rest until he does what he needs to do. He's also not the best at taking orders, even if it's important, heart over head type of person really. He tends to be extremely stubborn, informal, and sarcastic at times, and really he doesn't do well in groups, this'll be torture for him.
Backstory
His parents were both inventors working with a more, ah, volatile department - no one was really sure what led to the accident, but there was a great explosion and both were afflicted with a serious case of Protagonist Parent Syndrome - that is, to say, they both disappeared. Bodies were found, but over half of the people known to be involved were missing and his parents were among them.
Well, he'd never been one of those science-inclined people and most of the people who knew him knew it, he had literally no patience at all. So he turned to the other, more violent option, but he refused to join Enforcement, so he set off on his own. Something of a mix between a bounty hunter and an assassin, he didn't just catch criminals, he also did people's dirty work, incapacitating rival inventors, etc. He never killed anyone unless he had to, he refused to stoop to Enforcement's level like the noble hero he was. But there are certain advantages that come with working alone, and he's really got a knack for catching people, enough so that almost the entire world has heard of him.
He hates it here, but it's... really difficult to get out of Aidana a legal way, especially if you're useful to the city, he's just racking up money to bribe his way out of here or something. Corrupt dictator and such, but I know zip about how politics works so I'm not gonna get into that lol. He's basically given up hope thinking that his parents are alive, even if they were, he doubts he's ever going to find them any time soon.

It's nothing major, but whenever he gets stressed/anxious/angry, things break/go haywire around him. It's funny, and no one knows where he got it from. He can do it on purpose and has a certain amount of control over what happens (like he can aim them to hit people lol) but he usually doesn't, because Aidana looks down on those kinds of things.

Just trying to get out of this hellhole of a world.

He's got deadly accuracy and versatile with situations and weapons, isn't as sheer brute killing force as Enforcement but he almost never fails to take out a target. This has earned him a great deal of rep in Aidana plus the fact that he's a lot more civil and intelligent than the rest of Enforcement. People in other worlds don't know him as well since he's never left, but he's brought in some general universe-trouble causing targets so his title is on the map, if not his name. He doesn't go around giving out his name, so most people only know him as "The Hunter".

She's on no one's side, prefers to mind her own business instead of fighting wars, but she'll do what she thinks is right.
Personality
Pessimistic by nature and not exactly the most charismatic person once you get to know her. She tends to act down or unenthusiastic, especially when around people or situations she isn't comfortable with. However, around her friends or people she knows well, she's more outgoing with a sarcastic sense of humor. She doesn't really like to go out and meet new people, she wouldn't be hostile towards people she wouldn't know per se, but she wouldn't exactly be giving them hugs. Just... distant, unless forced.
She loves to travel and see new places, although many people don't know that about her unless they are close friends. Her few friends are very good friends, she rarely makes acquaintances, it's usually that you will be her good friend or not at all.
She is rather fast on her feet and street-smart although she is hardly the most patient and understanding at times. She gets frustrated with activities or people easy and is very independent, often feeling anxious if she can't be part of the action. However she isn't above seeking help. She can be somewhat stubborn and strong-willed at points, but not obnoxiously so. She's not a "sit and wait" person, if there's something she can do, she will want to do it.
Backstory
She never really had a good relationship with her parents, decorated scientists working for Aidana that wanted her to follow in their footsteps. When she turned 18, she found her way out of the world, and has been traveling ever since. She wants to see the world, and have an adventure or two on the way.
Somewhere along the way, she found a magical quill. It had binding magic, but that wasn't its only ability. It could write the unbiased truth of any situation.
So long story short, now she runs around writing unbiased stories and uncovering the legends of the world (not the Legends).

She doesn't have magic on her own, but her quill has binding magic. Meaning it can fix minor wounds, tie people up, bind an object to you so you can never lose it, etc. It will also only write the truth, so if she's writing down info from someone who is lying, it will not write.

Also, Lala, what shall we do with Nicote and Astra? (I mean I have the Astra ripoff in my world but whatever *shuts to the side and pretends she doesn't exist at the moment*)

Terrarine-a world overtaken by a magical force that pretty miuch falttens the landscape and can corrupt you. Or, it used to be able to anywyas. Now it just messes with your brain. Anyways, long story short, the whole planet has a population of about a few thousand and good grief things are messed up.
Nicote and Lish are kind of....trying not to cause commotion with their "we're from 50 years ago" thing because it'd cause trouble....(THink of it like Area 51-type stuff might happen)

Don't mess with the birdies, the pomegranates, or the white streak in his hair.
Backstory: Born on Earth, fell through a rift, got sucked into a war, got trapped in a box, fought his best friend, saved the world...again....Got introduced to pomegranates and the basic STEAM available and the rest is history.He's this close to figuring out cars.....

Personality Slytherin-type guy who just means well but is quite crafty in words.....he can win pretty much any argument. He tunes out the world easily but at the same time can tune back in at hearning certai nkey words. Oh and he sucks at combat but if you need info, he's the guy. He's more observant then you'd think so be careful what you say around him if you think he's aslepe or busy reading or something.
Backstory: Involves running, more running, being sneaky, having mental breakdowns, more running, almost turning into a zombie, getting tossed in a dungeon, escaping, saving the world (kind of), and almost dying a lot. Now he mostly does what Nic's been doing-trying to stay low and catch up on regular life activities.
Likes: Books, reading, debate, doodling with his power on random stuff.
Dislikes: The dark, cramped places, being alone.
Fears: Being alone...for good. And becoming half-zombie again.
Abilities: He can write on anything if he concentrates hard enough. It feels like a needle stabbing you as he "writes" and the ink is hard to remove. Part of this connects into having the ability to remember things longer and better then others.
Current Ambitions?: Catch up on the last 50 years of stuff and figure out what "normal" means.
Other: welp this is a problem Lishian is "adopted" (sort of its complicated) by the Xandoris but is getting too close to Ken in my book :(
