Laquan smiled, pleased, when he hit right on the mark. A perfect shoot was something to be proud of because it took plenty of hard work to make it happen. He walked over the the deer and examined it, estimating how many meals it would make, before quickly cutting up the deer to make it easier to carry. Luckily, it was a doe, so he left behind the head as well as any parts other than the red meat. Deer fat didnt taste very good.

He took the meat home in his game bag and began to prepare a small portion of it for breakfast before freezing the rest.
