Wanda powered up the tunnel with her magic, quickly passing Natasha, who was still only halfway up the ladder. When Natasha reached the top, she pressed her palm to a scanner embedded in the trapdoor. The scanner flashed blue and the trapdoor opened. They climbed out and the first thing Natasha did was lay on the ground for a moment.They had come out into an alley. "Right, let's get you to school, Sophie," Nat panted. "Are your clothes still clean enough for school or do we need to get you some?"

Sophie looked down, expecting to see her clothes but instead she saw her boa suit and jacket. Oh ya, her clothes were underneath, she remembered. "I'm sure they're fine. Do you know where I go to school?"

Natasha racked her brain for a minute. "Midtown High, right? With Peter?"

(oh i just realized nat and wanda arent supposed to know sophie's powers. how bout she used her suit instead to climb the ladder)

"Yep" Sophie grinned

Natasha looked around, trying to find a street sign. "I haven't been here in so long, I forget which part of the city this is. I think it's Queens, though." A long, thin cobweb confirmed Nat's guess. "Huh. Spiderwebs," she said, blowing on it. It disintegrated with the movement. "Okay, now to Midtown... north, right? I get so lost here."

Sophie nodded "I can lead the way if you want. I know where we are." She started ahead of Nat. Soon they came to the high school doors. There wasnt anyone around. "Uh oh, I guess we must be really late." Sophie smiled

Natasha looked at her phone. "It's nine. I hope this doesn't break your record. Or your report card. Or my standing with your dad." She stuck her phone back in her pocket. "Think you'll manage alright?"

"Ya I'll be fine. Thanks!" Sophie waved and walked up the stairs. She walked through the door, and hurried down the halls trying to make it in time for her English class. She had already missed Science but English started at nine. Bursting through the door just as class started, Sophie stood there akwardly for a minute as everyone stared at her. She walked over to her seat and sat down, looking at Peter who sat next to her. "Um, hi" she grinned

"You're later than normal," Peter whispered, pulling out his textbook and notebook. "And you don't have my of your stuff. What happened?" The teacher bopped the back of his head. "Mr. Parker, please keep your thoughts to yourself until class is over unless you are asked for them. And Miss Stark, please tell me you actually finished your homework last night." Peter rubbed the back of his head, making a face.

Sophie looked up, furious at the teacher. She bit back an angry response. 'Finish her homework? Did no one know her home had just exploded?! Taking a deep breath, she replied, "Yes I did but unfortunately I was not able to bring it this morning, I'm sorry"
