Kaea looked around at the inn and decided it would be better than underneath the cart.

Shavan
The girl murmured in her sleep, "I'm sorry, mum..." she didn't seem to wake up when you first shook her shoulders, but curled up further into a ball. She twitched as if having a nightmare.

Shavan tried rubbing her shoulders instead. "Child, it's alright," she said. Now it was more than a matter of getting a horse, and more a matter of helping the girl out of her nightmare.

Kit
Lord Oscar was busy eating, although he was keeping an eye on you by checking every now and again. The feast was open for you to eat from.

I look over at the person in the shadows and walk closer carefully.

I smile at it, and then decide you know what? I have time, maybe I'll catch a show. I go to find a ticket booth or the tent itself.

The fire torch flickered on it's perch on the wall, it was warm. As you stepped down the stones, it seemed hard not to make noise as they echoed. You could hear the low murmuring of the travellers you'd seen enter the hut.

The girl sat up, gasping for air and tears in her eye. She jumped as soon as you aw you and bowed her head down, "i-I'm sorry" she whimpered.
