Shiawase stares at them for a while, seeming a bit shocked by the answer.

After a few awkward seconds pass, she walks up to Kanashimi/Hitari and starts forcefully dragging them outside.

"_Uh - _{uh, Shiawase} - What are you doing - "

"If you're not going to just leave despite being able to - " She huffs, letting them go for the moment. "Then I guess Itami is the only option. Kanashimi, you're not supposed to have a physical body because this happens."

"I love missing important events," they mutter. "What exactly hap - _{what is that supposed to mean, Shiawase}?"

"What do you think it means?" Shiawase says, grabbing them again. "It means - huff - that the last time you had a body - puff - basically the same thing happened, just. . .worse, I guess."

Hitari/Kanashimi twitches. "This child is my first and only choice. Little has changed," they say - in a different voice altogether. It's very. . .hollow. And chilling.

Shiawase drops them and backs up. ". . .what?"

They seize up again. ". . ._{I said this is different, Shiawase}. . ._{this time, there's no goal}. . ."

The new voice hits Rin like a punch to the stomach. He gasps and stumbles as if struck by an invisible object. "What... what was that? Shiawase, is that normal?"

"My head feels like it's gonna explode," they say, dragging their gaze to you two. "Did someone try hitting me - us, I guess - or something. . .?"

Rin looks at the duality, eyes fearful. "I wish that was the problem," He says quietly

"We, uhm. . ." Shiawase clears her throat. "Nothing, just the same as before. You either leave, or we go to Itami. . ."

"No, Shiawase says. "Stop trying to - " She stops halfway through talking, squinting at them. "Wait, that's not. . ."

Shiawase walks up to Kanashimi/Hitari and holds their face, pulling them up and staring at their eyes. She glances at you. "Can you come here for a second?"

"Sure?" Rin says nervously, walking over to her.
