Think about any Gift that doesn't quite fit into any one category (e.g. Illusions, Portaling, etc.) That's what Mystery is there for.
Also, generalization:
Light = cheerful/smart
Spirit=smart, clever, Ravenclaws (ah I knew I forgot one XP)
Plasma=healers and destroyers
Air = Fighters
Lightning=also fighters, leaders
Water = peacemakers
Earth = (I haven't decided since my only Earth OC is a prankster who has a troubled past so Pranksters mostly I guess XP)
Metal = inventors, creators
Fire = They can be the kindest people on earth...or the cruelest. There's a wide fluctuation range.
Poison = misunderstood usually, most are nice, some are...not
Dark = creatives, mysterious
Mystery = anything goes

Originally, he was a slave. Captured by a group of evil nobles at the age of 4, he was experimented on. With dark magic. At first, it was simply for the nobles pleasure. Then once he showed signs of being a dark magic user, it turned into a lust for power. Not long after they sent him after the young crown princess, who at the time was 14. He deeply underestimated her, and if she had not pitied him, he would be dead. Instead of killing him, she decided to make him her personal assassin, and he did not refuse. Since then hes stayed by her side, always wearing his white mask.
