I'm not a POC myself, but I noticed that there really aren't many hair options for POC people. I remember seeing a post about people wanting more POC hair options for animal crossing new horizons, and it had lots of support. This is a great game and I know Sylestia needs more players, but I bet it's a bit off-putting for some POC when joining that the character bases are pale to start with (it might be nice if it started out grey/colorless and changed based on what skin tone you chose), and there are few hair options.
Sure, many POC, specifically BIPOC wear their hair straight, but come on. There are so many beautiful hairstyles that could be added to the game! (also if those are like, cornrows...I don't know I think they could look a little cuter. like, why so far back?)
Also, there isn't really many hair options for just like, curly hair? So many people have curly hair so I feel like there should be more! Wavy does not equal curly!

Also, unrelated to hair. I think it would be nice to add more intense Freckles, Vitiligo, a Port-wine stain birthmark and Facial Piercings. Like, there's a few mouth and ear piercings but what about like, eyebrow, dimple, bridge of nose, ect. (even belly button maybe? it would be cool with clothes that show your bellybutton)

i can support this, the default styles are definitely very limited

Support. I know people were excited with the addition of piercings and stuff when the wardrobe was revamped. Any new styles that would help represent more people would be welcome, I'm sure.

This might be more difficult because of the colors, but how about heterochromia as well?

I have partial heterochromia, so it would be cool if that could be added
