hi guys! about me: new and useless rn
just getting started so brace yourselves for very newbie questions that i will cringe at myself later for asking
where can i see a full list of pets so i can decide my favorite species?
how can i view other people's pets? i noticed pet information seems to be temporarily disabled? yet, people can still see my starter pet. i literally only see my own no matter who's page i'm on!
anything i need to know?

If you go to the generator (under exploration) close to the top somewhere it should say, "view list of species".
If you go to our profiles (by clicking our blue name) it should say view stables on the right hand side, then you can see our pets.

To answer your questions:

You can go into the generators and press the second tab things listed view list of species

Welcome to sylestia ! Since you dont have a favorite speacie any color scheme you like ?
On another note, the site is still in beta and some part of the tutorial nead to be re-made or clarified in the futur, to help new players understand the game better there is a guide section to the forum. Here are some of the most usefull guides to start your adventure. ^-^
The breeding guide, while it is mainly for project it explain in dept how to get traits to show visible and how the breeding mecanism work, it's a long guide but part of it can be skipped if you are not planing a project. This guide also explain what are themmed/tagged pets witch is a big thing here.
The guide of how to make gold, preaty self explanatory here, alot of new players struggle at getting the gold they nead for a while so this explain what you can do to have an easyer time to reach your goals.
The battler's guide explain you in dept how the fighting system work, it is a great help to figure out witch equipement each elements work with. This is another lenghty guide so it may take a bit to read.

IN addition to goign to a player's page and lcicking their stable/hatchery buttons you can go to the advancedsearch (fourth one down on the community dropdown menu or the blue link over the the left....all the wa over), then just fill in all the info and stuff.
(There's a few small glitchings with the search stuff for players but you probably won't run into it, i myself rarely even search for players with scertain words in their names who are online).
(Also, under pets, "purebred" means an offspring of two of the same themed pet / two purebred pets of the same theme / one themed and one purebred pet with the same theme.

BTW, i justrealized i think your started and mine could be friends or something XD
My starter and yes i know she has four carried genes/mutations XP

1: You mean every species? Here? (Then click on list of species)
2: Go to their stables and click on the pet, or find it on AS when looking for pets?

You might want to look at:
Faith Rescue Society for pets
Sylestia Walkthrough for help
Random Tips:
Don't use Healers. They are a complete waste of money. After all, your pets revive themselves after 30 minutes or so. (I think. I haven't had my pets need to revive in a loooooong time)
Don't buy potions from the marketplace; you can get them for free from missions (More below)
Buy cheap high-leveled pets for missions (Once again, more below) so that you have a 99.9% chance of not failing.
Do missions. Guide here. Missions are an easy way to get gold and free stuff without much effort. (If clicking a few buttons even counts as an effort) It becomes easier with high-level pets, so get a few off of Advanced Search. At the moment, there are quite a few cheap level 70 pets on right now! Just put all of their proficiency points in one thing (For example Health), name the pet (Ex: Health if you put all proficiency points in health), and send it on missions according to it's highest stat! (Ex: Send your health pet on missions with the stat labeled: Health)
Nurture pets until you get 1,000 scales (or more if you want!) and then buy a lesser pet dye. Sell it on the broker and then you can earn a lot of gold easily. They generally sell very quickly and for a high amount on the trade broker. You can also earn essences from nurturing (which enable you to generate a pet) that you can sell or use. During festivals, you can also earn some festival currency!
Don't breed unless you're breeding two themed pets (of the same theme!), two high statted pets, etc. Most pets don't sell if they are dishwater pets. (Pets that have little traits, low stats, ugly, or a combination of above) Also, try to price over 500 because The Releasers of Sylestia generally release anything for sale under 500g because they're trying to help the economy and make pets worth more again. (Loooooooong story...)
I'm open to giving away pets if you want, so just ask! I don't bite! (That's impossible to do virtually anyways....)

Hi, I'm Miroh (or Mir, Fynn, Ares, or Levi xD)! Wonderful to meet you~
I hope you're enjoying the game so far! What's your favorite species? I would love to get you a welcome gift, I always try to give new players welcome gifts. Quick tip: Don't breed or capture non-themed pets unless they have a lot of traits (5+). They won't sell for a lot because they aren't worth much, unless they're max-stats or regens.
Don't do healers, they're a scam. (And quick thing - I know my avi is a girl, I'm actually a guy ^-^")
The summer fest is coming up, so buy some good traps, level up your pets, and get ready for it! It's very exciting I promise you ^-^
