No one here probably knows me outside of the few people I've talked to, which I believe is a grand total of... two, MistressNyx and Larkien, so I figured I'd introduce myself to the greater Sylestia population.
I'm a girl who's only able to log on in her free time, which she doesn't have very much of since she's at college. Homework is the bane of my exiestance, but I'm really enjoying it. I'm trying to convince my roommate Casey to join Sylestia as well, as she's very into roleplaying and that forum seems to be very active.
I may technically be an 'older player' but I only played for a month or so before I kind of faded away. Now I'm back and hopefully I'll get into the swing of things. I see the fall fest is going on now and I'll try to get involved in that, but even with Nyx explaining how to manage my party pets to have a good build, I'm still getting flattened by the bosses.
The battling system is totally different than it was when I joined - the whole elements and stat points thing totally threw me off for a bit, but I think I'm figuring it out...
If anyone has any tips or anything for just playing in general, they'd be much appreciated. Thank you!
If I seem familiar, I joined under the name Griffigirl, but now I'm QueenOfThorns. Congrats to anyone who gets the reference. I just PMed Krinadon to get the O and the T capitilized.

Oh yeah, the roleplaying is great, we don't bite. Well some of our oc's do....maybe xD. Lark has a guide to it somewhere.
Congratulations you came back during a fest xD, I have a motley of max stats you can borrow if you want to get through some battles faster (I probably need to level them to 30 first though)

Hello! It seems like everyone knows each other here... Thanks for the offer, but I'd prefer to try to win them without the extra bonus of having max stat pets, since everyone else seems to be able to. Thank you though!

Expect to see us roleplaying too much, answering (probably not very welll....heh) newbie questions, and spamming the chats.

(Ah well at least we managed to do one hing eight-hour December celebrations thread. Do check that out if you have time, it's a fun little thing we cooked up and even if you dont get anything out of iit if you plan on roleplaying you'll get to know our ocs better since we r using the ones we like to roleplay wih :) )
Also if we say Cana that's jsut Larks old name
