Hello my name is Mooniepo I really reallllly need help.

SO I am having a school project on anything I'm interested in really... and i am done with everything other than research... I would like to interview any artist that is seeing this out there... the submission day is tomorrow but I have just enough research for submitting, for other parts of my project I still need more research and interview.

My school project is on making a comic and if you see this (even if you don't think you are a professional artist please answer these questionsss)

Thanks

I'm answering this assuming you need responses for your HW? So I may not be the best thing but I'm not nothing and that's better??

What you go by on internet: varies on what the people I'm conversing with prefer, but assuming being asked "professionally", Echosing though my dA which I use for submitting art is 99echosong99
What is your medium for art?: I prefer digital because I find it difficult to draw light enough that I can erase mistakes and edit when needed on paper, but I've only taken traditional art classes
Have you ever made a comic before?:
1) yes, like 10 years ago and it's horrible
2) I also made like, one page maybe 2 years ago that may or may not count as a comic?(it is also bad)
What motivated you or what did not motivate you?:
1) I was a part of the warriorcat community back then and people were creating some really cool fan comics and stories back then and I wanted to create something cool too.
2) I wanted to create something visual of the story I was writing so it could be more easily looked at for those who don't like to read
How far have you come with your comic? or do you plan on making a comic?: I'm attempting to master drawing backgrounds first before I attempt making any comics but once I feel comfortable with my abilities I'd like to try again
What do you like to draw mostly?: characters
What kind of advice do you have for me?: perspective and line-of-action is amazing, learning correct shading + foreground and background will do a lot to pull the viewer in

idk if you want multiple people but why not I'm suppose to do hw rn so why not help someone else

What you go by on internet: Bunny__Waffles5 or something similar

What is your medium for art?: I like traditional because it is more convenient but I often find myself taking pictures of my traditionally drawn art and tracing it digitally

Have you ever made a comic before?: I am actually in the process of making one now, I have traced one before for a graphic design project (we all had to trace the same comic so no plagiarism for me), and also created one for a different assignment of ours

What motivated you or what did not motivate you?: If you mean to start art then it was that I always loved it as a kid and all my friends did too (we are all in the same art class this year) so I just always stuck with it. If you mean what is the inspiration behind my art it is just different sort of cosplays I guess or just mini stories in my head.

How far have you come with your comic? or do you plan on making a comic?: I have one panel square done. *tear* Actually....no...I am working on a background for all of the panels...So....I have bits and pieces of each panel done.

What do you like to draw mostly?: I like to draw animal like humans (eg. people with wolf ears and tail) And images that I think of that incorporate a quote from a book I have.
What kind of advice do you have for me?: If you were to ever get frustrated with a piece, don't crumple it and say this is useless as you show it away. Try to stay calm as you grab a new piece of paper and keep the other "failure" as a reference so you know what not to do. And also just draw how you feel. Art is a way I find to express my personality. Whether it be colorful, intricate, simple, cartoony, whatever. Let it express you.

What you go by on internet: Orca2Whale, Catherine Orkhanna Warrnington, Orca, etc. Im evverywhere basically. But if it has orca in the name, (or Orchid, my insta is orchids_art_ocean) then it's prob me.
What is your medium for art?: Traditional for sketching, digital for everything else but I dont have a good drawing tablet so....yeah. It's really...not great.
Have you ever made a comic before?: Yes. It was an epic success (if you call my friends willing to look at it a success). I was 9 or 10.
What motivated you or what did not motivate you?: Anime art styles. It's the only kind I can do succesfully. I like to be realistic though so yeah. Stuff that doesn't look very realistic=not gonna do it. I also want my comics to be actually funny. Not political.
How far have you come with your comic? or do you plan on making a comic?: Uh...that's ocmplicated....I've treid but failed a lot and I get no ideas.
What do you like to draw mostly?: People (girls usually cuz they're more fun but boys Im trying to do now) and sometimes scenary.
What kind of advice do you have for me?: Try a variety of styles and figure out what works for you. It's easier to go off stuff you're ffamilier with-for example, I'm familier and good with anime styles but my best friend's sister prefers the more elegant realistic styles and rarely if ever does anime style. But don't be afraid to push your boundaries! The more you practice something, the easier it gets. And just because something looks weird to someone else doesn't mean it's weird to you. Outside opinion is nice but you're the final dicision maker. But don't just throw all outside opinion out the window-my best friend told me my drawings three years ago were kind of creepy and now that I loo kback, I realize that she was right even if I didn't think so at the time.

(P.s. I do a pretty good Uraraka Ochaco and a great Mellissa Sheild if you're ever interested :))

(Hope i did this right)

What you go by on internet:
Imorphemi or Imorphemi06, whatever's available.

What is your medium for art?:
Traditional, digital, anything thats drawing

Have you ever made a comic before?:
Part of a few. I threw them away before i could get very long into it

What motivated you or what did not motivate you?:
I liked it

How far have you come with your comic? or do you plan on making a comic?:
Not far. I do plan on doing another one or continuing old ones

What do you like to draw mostly?:
Hoomans. elves

What kind of advice do you have for me?:
Ummm....i dunno. I think you should just focus on the lineart more though, since you have a deadline. Coloring usually takes a long time and aren't that important.

What you go by on internet:
I usually go by GoldenNautilus or Direwolf251

What is your medium for art?:
Pencils, Paper, and Pens.

Have you ever made a comic before?:
Yes. I enjoy doing small comic strips from time to time, though the largest I've done was 3 pages.

What motivated you or what did not motivate you?:
I usually get inspiration for comics from books, movies, videos, and funny online posts I stumble across, though I may also draw on request. The hard part comes when you're a few panels in and you loose your creative streak, though; at that point, the vision of the final result drives me forward.

How far have you come with your comic? or do you plan on making a comic?:
I have no plans for anything huge at the momwnt, though I will do small strips as ideas pop up.

What do you like to draw mostly?:
Animals (Mythical and otherwise) and video game related stuff, mostly.

What kind of advice do you have for me?:
I'll leave you with this: If you ever want to improve in your drawing skills, wether it be technique, style, or even trying to get hands right (Because I still draw fists and mittens if I can get away with it), the best way to do that is to draw a lot. Experiment, and don't be afraid to cringe at your older works. Good luck on your project!!

What you go by on internet: Old alias:Silverlilywolfy New Alias: Sl33pl3ssnights [the full is Sl33pl3ssnights=Burnout. But you know, no special characters and character limit. I've started signing my work SN=B]

What is your medium for art?: Im still a beginner, so i'm purely traditional at this point but I'd love to start dabbling in digital sometime soon. I'm pretty bad at sketches, I prefer going straight for a bold line which is one of my many weaknesses. I love using markers, I think watercolors and ink are very pretty but a bit too volatile for me to handle. I frequently use patterns as backgrounds or a way of coloring stuff in, which while it makes my pieces visually appealing they can also look awfully busy. I can draw a pretty good realistic eye and I dabble is realistic soft shading with graphite.

Have you ever made a comic before?: Yes and no. It was very cringey fyi.

What motivated you or what did not motivate you?: Im really motivated by the beauty and creativity. I love being able to create. One of the things that really ruins that for me though is my fathers disapproval and never having enough time to practice and get better. I feel sometimes I'm falling behind a losing my chance because I simply dont have enough time.

How far have you come with your comic? or do you plan on making a comic?:Like I said, I only sort of made a comic before. Now though I fantasize about it all the time, constantly thinking of different characters and about the world they live in.

What do you like to draw mostly?: I like flowy and pretty things, every now and then theres something veey dark in my work but I mostly just draw and let it flow from there. Sometimes I will find a song that goes with my drawing and force myself to listen only to that song until i'm finished.

What kind of advice do you have for me?: Don't be afraid to try new things and techniques. I even recommend trying to experiment with another persons style until you learn something new. And don't cover hands! I know there hard but you can only get better with practice!
