you should be able to add pets with a level higher than 34 to your party cause I think it's just silly that you cant and why 34?

Looks like this was also addressed in your general discussion forum (which, next time maybe don't make two threads on the same topic).

But as Lucario said there, your current user level is 34. You can't use pets higher than your user level in your party. You can use them for missions, breeding, etc., though.

Once you personally level a pet up from 34 to 35, your user level will increase to 35. Then you'll be able to use lv35 pets in your party. And so on.

It takes all yhe fun out of exploring since a lot of cheap pets are also high leveled sometimes.
