I've been gone for two years and now I'm back from the dead! I'm curious to see if any new popped up while I'm gone, and I'd love to see the new designs that are possible, and if there are any new pets!

Well, I've only been here one year, and I don't know which pets are "new", so instead I'd like to create a list of all the species/pets here, along with some designs (Genes only). Multiple pets have gone through "Re-vamps", anyhow, so I believe it'd be nice to see how all the pets looked today!

Do any of these kinds of pets look new?

Here are some things that changed during the last two years.

1. For the Spring 2015 Festival, some existing Themes had their colors adjusted. The Tags are exactly the same, but the palettes are different. Krinadon said we could refer to the two color varieties within one Theme as the "Collector's Edition" and "Modern" varieties, but some players prefer to call the older color varieties "Classic" or "Original." Here are the adjusted Themes. BTW, the comparison pets don't necessarily have the same traits, because I'm linking to actual pets.

The Tiger Lily Aeridini--

The adjustment on the colors of the Rainy Day Aurleon were minor--

The Chocolate Candy Bulbori color adjustments were moderate--

However, the White Chocolate Bulbori adjustments were as radical as were those of the TL Aeridini--

The Aeridini species received two new Gene Three traits, Sea Foam and Day Gecko--

Nyvene: Called Flower Helm and Wing Wrap


Puffadore: Called Angelic Runes, Armor, and Helm

I discovered a few days ago that changes happened with some morkko themes, too. I really gotta get back to that thread I was working on. Gene 2 and gene 3 colors seem to have been swapped. But I haven't looked really closely yet. Seems to be affecting at least certain species that were released again this year.

It makes me wonder if it was intentional or an accident. I wouldn't have noticed except a few days ago I took a peek at a regennable bear while organizing and noticed that brindle would look really different on it compared to another of the same theme with brindle.

Wow, I've been gone for too long... It's interesting to see the changes! Also, did we ever get more admins?
