Warning: There is a definite chance your character could get severely hurt/killed. So no guarantees you'll survive.....
also yes this is the reboot here's the original: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=91613
World War 3 was not fought with nuclear weapons like many people thought. It was a normal war.
Normal except that it was against the new empire of Arioha. An empire from another planet, meaning to take over Earth.
Nowhere was safe. The countries of the world banded together, trying to stop Arioha. But the war raged on. There could be no peace. Arioha refused to leave, Earthians were already there and didn't want to leave either.
You are-or rather were-a soldier from a country of Earth. Or maybe a soldier of Arioha. Either way, you're currently being held captive (or are holding captive prisoners) on Mars, where the Ariohans have set up shop and already taken over all the Earthian-Mars colonies.
It's another long day on Mars. Exactly on time at 7 in the morning (or the equivalant of it) the chimes to wake up are set off, banging through the underground prison camp that resembles a cross between Alcatraz and a Nazi POW camp. Which it sort of is being a camp to both keep prisoners and attempt to convert them to the side of the Ariohas, which would mean a sure victory. In the eyes of the Ariohans, anyways.
The guards have already been awake for some time and are busy checking that every prisoner is still preswnt.....and not up to mischief of any sort. Breakfast wuld be served in about half an hour in the large mess hall, after the guards escorted the prisoners in.
~~~~
The prisoners were situated in large dorm-like cells, with the basic things such as "beds" (more like large rocks with sheets) and a waste disposal area. A small handful of guard were assigned to each cell, although there was a severe laxk of guards due to....well. supply reasons. (Everyone is in the same cell or assigned to the same cell for convinience purposes)
Finn yawned, the Ariohan guard still half-asleep himself. He had the totally pleasant task of waking up the prisoners in the cell he was assigned, which- well, he was frankly half cobvinced someone had given him this task for the sole purpose of laughing at wanting to watch him suffer. Ignoring the other guard assigned to the cell (look conversations were hard in the mornings-) he marched over to the bars and rapped on them with a Earthian gun he'd been given. "Oye, wake up!" He yelled inside.
Lishian grumbled, yawned, decided it was too cold, and put the blanket hed swindled off sone other prisoner over his ears. "How about no." He muttered.
Hawk (interacting with Wright)
Hawk groaned. He hated being trapped in the prison without anything fun. Adventures were supposed to be about action, not sitting around in a cell being yelled at to wake up. His temper flared and he was about to yell at the guard that just because he was so ugly because he couldn't get beauty sleep that he didn't have to go around waking everyone else up when he spotted Wright. His anger quickly evaporated imagining what would have happen if Wright had ended up alone here. Besides, between the two of them, they could certainly find a way to make this stupid place more enjoyable.
Hypatia
Hypatia hummed a series of random notes to herself as she peered at the prisoners. "Up-itty up-itty sleeping just won't do." She said with a cacle to a prisoner who was covering their ears. She wondered if these fascinating speciman would just sleep and sleep if the guards didn't wake them up..or maybe it was just this one.
Ivan Kerensky
Ivan grumbled to himself about these savashri jailers and indulged himself in some potent oaths as he put his bed back together. It was an old habit, as always, to do things in the same order every day. That meant exercise before breakfast, which he immediately launched into, doing push-ups today.
Damon looks at the guard having already been awake for several hours. He had tried to keep quiet for his fellow prisoners' sake. Calmly he looks around the cell for the thousandth time before trying to find a piece of paper, a pencil, chalk, charcoal, something, anything to write with. Damon knew he should try to introduce himself to the others at some point but was knew that they might think he was a spy since he had been there the longest. Getting up off the floor Damon walks past the door looking for any weakness in it or the guard.
"Finn right," Damon asks the guard, "could I have some paper or something please?"
Damon could guess what the answer would be but was willing to try his luck since he had been behaving unless provoked.
Finn huffed. "You already get paper. During breakfast. That stuff you lot are so insistant you need to wipe your mouths." He really didnt get it- in all honestly he hadnt paid much attentoon to earthian things beyond the cool weapons but swriously what was it with prisoners just wanting paper all the time? This was the place they called Mars for goodbess' sake.
Lishian flipped off the guard cackling at him before drawing his hand back under the blanket. He'd been here long enough to know he was done with this place. At least in the army they gave you a decent matress. Most of the times, anyways, or at least where Lish had been stationed.
Wright, who was already awake, attempted to pull the blanket over his head to muffle the sound of the gun banging on the cell bars, but it was, alas, too short. Pretending not to notice that unfortunate defeat, he instead squinted over at Hawk, looking amused at the latter's obvious irritation.
"Morning, Kitty," he called over cheerfully, his tone completely opposite of what would seem to be appropriate for the situation they were currently in.
"I meant... Oh never mind," Damon shakes his head, "What do you use to write then? Or do you never want to write anything down for your family in case you don't get out or for, say the future? After all you can't blame me for missing home a little after not being able to see my parents for almost two years." Yes, Damon was trying to see how psychology, in this case sympathy, worked on Finn. At the same time he was curious about Mars and the culture.
