Welcome to the Meow-tain Range!
Today has been an average sort of day; you've spent most of your time in your Stables, taking care of the Sylesties you own. Each one of your precious pets requires time and dedication; so you're glad that you're doing this, making each one feel loved and appreciated.
Presently, that's what you're continuing to do when you hear an odd sort of meowing - you wonder if it's one of the Vulnyxes or Lighiras you own, but you quickly dismiss that notion. None of your Sylesties sound quite like this; in fact, this sounds a lot more like...a regular cat, maybe? But what would one of those be doing in the Stables you keep for your Sylesties??
Alarmed and a little worried that something will happen to this phantom cat, you quickly scramble to find the source of the meowing.
As you turn the corner to the entrance to your Stables, you notice a lone cat, sitting directly in front of your Stable's doors.
While seemingly an average stray, this cat possesses a set of wings - and holds a letter in its mouth, staring at you soulfully. It meows again as you get closer, fluttering its wings, and dropping the letter at your feet.
You bend to pick up the letter, and begin to read,
"Dear Sylestian,
You have been chosen to take part in our conservation efforts! My name is Professor Tian, and my associates have recently discovered a mountain range in which common house cats have begun to mutate and adapt - in fact, it is somewhat similar to the processes we see Sylesti go through.
We have no idea what causes these mutations and genetic changes - but we would like to find out, and we would like to enlist your help in doing so!
If you are interested, please make your way to what we are now calling The Meow-tain Range; directions should be provided on the back of this letter.

When you look back up from the letter, the cat is gone. What just happened?
The Meow-tain Range is an adoptable pixel cat shop, open to anyone! You can use the cats that you have acquired anywhere you like; in your bio and in the forums, and even other pet sites - so long as the pixels are credited to me. If I find you using pixels that you have not bought yourself, or trying to pass off my work as your own, I will not hesitate to report you. Please don't make me have to enforce this one. Just don't be terrible. :(

"Hello there! You must be one of the Sylestians chosen for our conservation program!" Professor Tian's words seem effortless and succinct; she seems to be a no-nonsense type of Sylestian, though hopeful sparkles glimmer in her eyes, betraying the worst of her strictness.

Master Binoculars - 3,500g - These will allow you to see cats from super far away! I think I see some rare ones in the distance...
Basic Boombox - 500g - Play some music! Maybe a cat will find interest in it, and come to you!
Better Boombox - 1,000g - This boombox allows you to play your music louder! Cooler cats will come check you out!
Master Boombox - 3,500g - Is it possible that a boombox can encompass the entire Meow-tain Range? I guess so! This boombox will allow you to attract cats from the furthest corners of the Meow-tain Range!
Lovely Fish - 5,000g - Use this to breed two cats of your choosing! Sometimes, you might get some rare breeds!
Red Snapper - 600g - Use this to increase your chances of finding Uncommon or higher rarity cats.

The Meow-tain Range
You look out into the massive peaks that make up the Meow-tain Range, gasping in awe. Everything from caves to snow-capped mountains to brilliant, flowering fields make up this odd place where cats have seemed to thrive.
Now, where should you look for your new cat?
Mountain Path - This path seems to be the best for beginners. It doesn't lead anywhere steep, and you can relax as you enjoy a nice stroll. (Cats Found: 8/20)

Meow-tain Breeding
You can breed two of your cats if you have a Lovely Fish x1! Sometimes breeding cats will result in special, breeding only species.

Premium Kittehs & Other Raffles
Occasionally, we will find a very special, and very rare cat. These will be raffled off, tickets priced differently depending on said cat.
Otherwise, we may raffle off a special item. Do not worry, all of the gold in tickets will go to fund the continued conservation of the Meow-tain Range!
