"Let's just hope I made enough spells...." He mutters. "I suck at luck charms without a proper channeler..."

Hanako just nods, grins, and follows along.

the elvator opens for us as we near it, and we step in. i press the green "o" button, heading to the office. the elevator begins to ascend slowly, the levels ticking by one by one. finally, the door opens, revealing the office, and Genji at his desk.

"i've been waiting" he says, sipping the coffee in his hand. of course he was. "then you know we need transportation" Eli says, stepping forward. "yep" he says, gesturing towards the door "lucas willescort you to your ride"he adds, smiling at the large man in the corner.

"Cool." Lishian just says.

"I still dont get why we can't just take the sewers or a drone....." hanako mutters.

"Not everyone can use their bathroom like a teleporter Princess." Lishian tells her.

(Want me to take the transport? I have a dusty OC i can wrangle into some use, poor guy hasnt hd much to do since i started working on a differnet oc's backstory xD his ltierla job is jsur "chauffer")

"you're not using the sewers because genji thinks thats gross" the guard infroms us, shaking his head at us like we're children. wow, rude much?

the elevetor takes us all the way up to the surface, dinging at level twenty four, the doors slide open. however, instead of being on level 24 of some massive building, we're on the ground level of another deralict building. through one of the broken windows, i spot a sleek black limo waiting for us.

however, instead of tires, it has oddports which are used to keep it in the air at about the same height itwould be if it had wheels. oh that is so,so cool.

(either works. Honestly hes so background anyways i dont even have a name for him XD)

Hanako mutters something about "Humans and their sterility", then stalks out towards the car.

Lishian just shakes her head at hier. "Aaaand that's her creepypasta side." he sighs, following. "Hey, the driver looks like one of the dudes I know from one of the worlds I used to live in in the Interspace. Never did much though, I think he got shipped to the part of town where all the forgotten folk go." he comments as they draw nearer.

"forgotten folk?" i ask, glancing at the man as he steps into the drivers seat. seconds later, the doors swing open for us. he must have a button for that.

Eli looks interested aswell, helping the both of us into the car and taking a seat next to me as the doors slam shut. "well, according to the map, we have a lot of time, why don't you tell us about your world" she suggests, looking quite interested.

Lishian raises an eye at Hanako as the car starts moving. "You or me first?"
"You're technically older."
"Fine. But you have to tell us about your world afterwards." He tells Eli and Zoey.

"Right, so I've never been to tat particular side- actually, I barely remember what it's called, most of us try not to think of it too much- but essentially, our world is like, 10 worlds in one. So there's like a main hub area, and then different portals to different worlds. Some of us like Hanako can only acces one world, while I'm one ofthe ones that can access almost all of them. The Narrators, they're like the people in charge, they decide all that stuff. Anyways, it's a bit confusing but in the hub you can shift between any of your forms from any world you're in- like right now I'm in my Terrarine form, but i could hypothetically become wayy more human if I really thought about it. It's a pain though, much easier to just world hop. Abilites don't cross over too, which sucks but it's probably for the best. There's a part of the Interspace, that's what we call our whole matrix thingy, where anyone the Narrators lose interest in end up. It's kind of unorganized chaos there, but unlike the Interspace I'm pretty sure you an get out and do stuff without beigng controlled by the Narrtors. If you're still in their sights though, well, we know other realms exist- i have a friend who's girlfriend is technicaly part of anohter realm- but most of the time we can't just cross over and visit without permits. Did i get everything?" He asks Hanako, pausing to take a big breath of air.

"He covered most of the key points, but forgot to mention that there's a handful of people, like himself, who have slight influence over the Narraters, and that if you aren't in one of the "major worlds" you end up in this weird pseudo-world plcae. Also the Narrators can randomly take control of you on a whim. It usually doesn't end well if they take you for extended periods of time, one guy started off normally and then ended up gaining like 6 siblings somehow." Hanako chuckles. "It was weird. So, what's your story?"

eli looks to me, shooting me a pair of finger guns before i can volunteer her for the task.

"well, where i'm from most people don't know about magic unless they posses it" i explain "i grew up like that, totally normal person - except for the whole "cursed to go blind at eighteen" thing. i didn't know about that, though, it was wrtten off as a genetic condition my family had. but then, something happened to me and i ended up meeting eli" i say, nudging her, she waves. "and she started teaching me about magic" i shrug.

eli shoots me a glare. "you're leaving out the coolest parts!" she whines "our bloodlines were allies before yours fell back in the 1600s, when your familiy was cursed and moved to america. not to mention how you are tenchincally blind and use your magic to see" she fills the others in, while i cover my face.

"Oh, cool! I'm technically blind according to the laws in Bildernia, 'cuz of my Gift and all. Really quite annoying since I can see perfecly fine with my glasses on. And when I've just cleared out the inkspots. Not really why i got the version of this that makes it come from the yes but oh well-"

"What he's trying to say is, you're cooler then him in terms of eyesight." Hanako interupts. "He has no social skills and oesn't understand compliments."

"Hey!"

"aww thanks" i say, beaming. hey wait, if we're both blind...i'm going to have to make us "blind buddies" pins, aren't i?

Eli, knowing what i'm thinking, rolls her eyes, giving my shoulder and affectionate push. "what does your world have in the way of channeling magic?" she asks, changing the subject before i can suggest a "blind buddies club".

"we have our familiars to help us focus our magic, do you have anything like that?"
